Does anyone have a list of possible opponents for the September/October friendlies? Just trying to work out the likelihood of another away game in September or October for booking leave in work 😂
I saw on Twitter, from dragon soccer, that they need to be finalised by the 17th January, but haven’t seen anything since.

That would be nice or Lithuania away so we can have a little tour For fans before Latvia But I think as we have Latvia away it’s going to be a home game at the racecourse. I’d love to see Wales V China there keep up good relations so we can get an invite to the China cup but probably something like Wales v Jamaica |

The only reason that we got invited to the last China Cup is because we had a global superstar in the Team. China won't give us a second thought now that 'monkey man' has retired and we are no longer box office.
The last Wales v Jamaica game at the Ninian was a bonkers game and a good pay day for the FAW. Thousands with Jamaican heritage turned up, if that was to happen again, it might be a good fixture.
Do we know which countries are actually available?

Yeah, that was a crazy day.
There were almost as many Jamaican fans in the crowd as Welsh for that game. Saying that, it was hard to work out who was who as Welsh fans were borrowing Jamaican fans hats, haha (this was pre-bucket hat days)
There was also an , ahem, chilled atmosphere in the crowd.

From all the possible away locations in September, only Sofia doesn't have a direct flight to Riga. Still, if the fixture is away, Oslo makes so much more sense. Is Montenegro only an option in October? Another tricky location (unless EasyJet will still be flying to Dubrovnik in Oct)

They won’t want an away trip before a crunch home game against Croatia. Doubt we’ll have an away trip in September either, much easier to prep at home before flying to Riga

They won’t want an away trip before a crunch home game against Croatia. Doubt we’ll have an away trip in September either, much easier to prep at home before flying to Riga I wouldn’t describe the games against Croatia as crunch matches. The games against Turkey, yes, and sadly they will have a friendly on the match day before playing us in Cardiff. |

As a dirty southerner, I'd love more games to be up north, would love the chance for a trip up to see a game at Cae Ras
After the Kop is redeveloped I'm sure the FAW will organise a high profile friendly there

I’m all for some games to be played at the racecourse but also hope we have friendlies in Swansea too! It’s a shame we missed the USA game there due to Covid, I hope the FAW do it again, take the games around Wales.
