Don't know much about either, but Eric Ramsay from Utd sounds interesting. Only 31 too, very young for a coach at that level so he must be highly rated.

"In-depth interviews on the appointments with Page, Ramsay and Davies are available to watch exclusively on RedWall+, the FAW’s free streaming platform." (From the FAW website and via following link: www.faw.cymru/en/news/rob-page-announces-new-backroom-staff/?back=/en/news/&pos=1) Internet sleuthing including reading old Training Ground Guru pages suggests: 2007-2009: West Ham Unknown start year-2013: Birmingham City under Chris Hughton 2013-2017: Norwich City with Chris Hughton 2017-2018: West Ham with David Moyes 2018-2021: WBA under firstly Darren Moore and thereafter Jimmy Shan, Slaven Bilic and Sam Allardyce. 2021 onwards: West Ham with David Moyes I can't find anything quickly about his time at Charlton - presumably he speaks about his background in the RedWall+ interview. Think we can say that David Moyes and Chris Hughton rate him and we have another Premier League side to watch out for now. You know who else has rated him previously? Tony Strudwick who tweeted the following when Davies left Norwich: "I hope that is his (Davies') decision. If not that is a dreadful way to treat a practitioner with so much experience."

Just out of interest we’re the previous coaches both part time? I was under the impression that Giggs back room staff were all permanent.

Some further quotes again from old posts on Training Ground Guru webpage regarding Nick Davies:
And from his successor at Norwich, Chris Domogalla:

Sounds promising. Well respected and Welsh. Read something about Ramsay having been in the frame for the Blackpool job. What are the odds on him being our next manager I wonder!

Can't comment and know very little about both. But, welcome on board! As to the interview with Robert ... I am really not impresed with him saying: "The changes give us an opportunity to build on our success, by drip-feeding new players into the squad at the right times. Hopefully in the next 12 months we’ll then have the next batch of players to represent Wales at the top level."
Please. More gluttony and feasting ... less of the fasting!

Makes sense I think - not many of our starting XI positions are up for grabs really

I’m confused as to what you’re saying here. You don’t want them to drip feed new players in at the right time? You want wholesale changes in one go? Is even putting everyone in at one time was a good idea,Who are these players that you want thrown in ?

The FAI do it all the time. Would like to see Oli Cooper, Hedges, Mullin, Chem Campbell, Broadhead, Bradshaw and certainly there should be room for Matt Smith and Ben Woodburn in there to. Oli and Bradshaw should be starting the game v Latvia.

Doesn't really surprise me when you see the composition of the Council and the sorts of faces that sit on it. At least it appears the FAW acting swiftly and used a fairly robust process in these cases. Not a helpful distraction before the next game in any case.

Personally I think it reflects well on the FAW. There were a couple of issues and the FAW appears to have acted decisively. It's chalk and cheese when compared with the WRU.

Dissapointing, but not surprising. These things go on everywhere sadly. At least it's been sorted out swiftly.

All respect to Gunter as a player obviously, but I feel we need proper tacticians. This is a bit jobs for the boys.......
Also, didn't Page say he had a 'senior player committee' prior to the WC? Was Gunter part of this 'committee'? Maybe he feels he can't do the job without them?!

I’m shocked and appalled with this appointment from Page. We need coaching experience for a younger squad. It’s sentimentality and shows how out of his depth Page is

We all knew Gunter was being groomed as a potential coach, thats why he was constantly being picked for games he would never play.
Personally i think we have retained one of our most successful international players ever. This isn't jobs for the boys as gutner has been there and had the success. The knowledge he can pass on whilst keeping momentum and continuity is essential in this team.
Last week we were screaming how much of a legend he is, we need those players still involved in a capacity.
