Ramsey is heads and shoulders above everyone else. The result will do, but we're in no way impressive and still unsure of how to score beyond trying to cross it into Kieffer. Nice to see Neco and Ampadu giving it a go on occasion though.

Neco and Wilson very nearly scored, twice Wilson came mighty close, Neco had a shot tipped onto the bar. Fine margins.

Decent performance, we were clearly a good few levels above them. A shame not to score more but there we go.
It makes such a massive difference when we have time on the ball, it shows that we're a team of decent players up to a certain level, but not beyond that at the moment.
Morrell is easily at home in these games, superb show from him I thought apart from one mistake near the end.

Sorba Thomas would not do much worse defending and Sorba's attacking play and crossing is far better Last 25 mins was awful - we had low energy - why are Latvia so much fitter and why does Page not bring on fresh legs? |
