I have emailed the ticket office and asked them to take my name as I missed out in stage five, there is no waiting list for this game but they reassured me that any returned tickets will be offered to stage 5ers first which would be the fairest system. I know a fair few in stage 5 who missed out so even 20 tickets would go a long way.

Any tips for reasonable flights from pretty much anywhere in the UK that won't be too arduous? I have a ticket but am yet to book.

FSA said there were two uncollected tickets in Riga and these were given out to two lucky fans. No idea how they decide it but makes it difficult to give out uncollected tickets as they can still be collected at the stadium before the game.

Hard an ardous look yesterday, via Rome, Sofia or Larnaca seems to be cost effective but poor times/overnights in an airports
I saw these at about £240 total
17TH GATWICK - VENICE 07:00 10:05 - Easyjet 17TH VENICE - YEREVAN 13:50 20:10 - Wizz 20TH YEREVAN - VIENNA 13:35 14:30 - Wizz 20TH VIENNA - GATWICK 16:50 18:20 - Wizz
But everyone will have their own opinions and preferences... I am toying with going through Cyprus for a day to get on the beach for half a day!

Wouldnt be shocked if there's some cut price Wonky trips that people might want to resell, rather than travelling without tickets. If they're allowed to be resold of course.

Going out I was looking at Gatwick to Larnaca on 16th, cheap hotel, on to Yerevan 17th (£50ish for the flights). Coming back the prices shot up the last couple of weeks, but was going to go Yerevan to Rome (3 hour change) to Gatwick on 19th, but that had gone up to about £260.

My friends just took a punt and bought $40 tickets on tickets-am.com. Quite a few for sale on the site. Did the process go smoothly? It was easy. They clicked on the link and the ground and selected $40 tickets. Paid by credit card and received an email saying the tickets will be emailed to them no later than 2 days before the event. Anything goes wrong, it's paid by credit card so they can request the money back from their card provider. Personally I think it's a no-brainer as travelling all that way without a ticket is completely insane.

Must admit that I have used two different sites that are very active in online events sales for Yerevan opera/ballet/circus and sport events. Niether of those has our game, but have many other events. My point is that I have always received a pdf file INSTANTLY via email.

The tickets (PDfs) have arrived, and they look genuine. This also seems like the only site selling tickets.
Section 75 with your credit card means you'll get your money back if anything is wrong with them.

My understanding is that for Section 75 to count the purchase has to be between £100 - £30,000. www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/section75-protect-your-purchases/

Wizz air at it again. Having booked a few days ago to beat the rush just a few days later I find out my flight from Yerevan to Sofia is cancelled. Not even an email - just happened to open the Wizz app and had a message in the app. Follow the option to rebook but flights either 2 days earlier or 5 days later shown as options. Search on the Wizz desktop site and that offers a flight just half an hour later than the flight cancelled - which I can't access via the rebooking process or the app book - but can book on the desktop site (I do wonder if it will actually run). Frustrating or what.

Frustrating or what. Yes you are correct, but banks usually refund everything now as you can also ask for a charge back. As long as you've got the email as proof of purchase you have nothing worry about. My friend works for Lloyd's bank and he said they are refunding loads in Dec and Jan after people buy computer games etc on fake sites and nothing turns up.

I booked some yesterday but haven't had a pdf come through yet They took about 8 hours to come through. I think they sent out a batch just after 9pm last night as some other friends I know got them at the same time.

I've just noticed the Russian reseller site has upped their prices by an extra $20 a ticket with the cheapest now being $50! The old supply and demand scenario
