Can play any formation we like but need to sort the fundamentals out first.
Energy, managing transitions, positional awareness. Need to be instilled in this group.
I also feel some personnel changes wouldn't go amiss. We've lost enough games or have had enough poor performances for some of these lads to be dropped. Cohesion and familiarity is not existent anyway.

Pretty obvious Page will probably play the exact same formation with someone like Bradshaw instead of Moore. "You cant defend like that!!" There I've told them! They won't be doing that again! I actually agree with you. Maybe Morell for Moore with James or Johnson as a false 9. |

This is what I’d go for. Need to counter effectively so I’d go for the following
Ward
CRobs Meps Rodon Davies Neco
Ampadu Morrell
Johnson Rambo
DJ
CRobs/Neco to come in at times to help the midfield, with Meps/Davies shuffling over to cover. Think Roberts would be a more natural fit for that role, given Burnley’s style.

May sound boring and defensive but whoever we play we should always have 2 just in front of our defence. Our defence is just not strong enough without.

People are saying turkey are not that good of a team and while that it's obvious they have dropped from the heights of recent years they have still beaten Armenia and Latvia away from home so far.And Latvia gamv us a tough game and we know what happened with Armenia,both at home.Mondays game is basically our whole group survival in one game isn't it? maybe not but it is vital.

It’s a shame that our catastrophic Friday wasn’t mitigated by Turkey not getting that 96th minute winner in Latvia, but a good result on Monday would still keep us in the mix.
Turkey and Armenia still need to go to Croatia and Turkey would need to get a result when they come to Cardiff.
We are massively ul against it and under huge pressure now but It’s not over yet and *puts on Kevin Keegan voice* l would love it if we qualified from this position, love it.

Yep its mad how catastrophic our performance was then to cap it all Turkey steal a late, late victory!
They have now beaten both the two weakest teams away and could have dropped points against both I guess. Things are against us right now aren't they!

It's going to get worse before it gets any better. With that in mind, start Neco and give him the armband. He had more fight in him than the rest of the team from his short cameo on Friday night. Get Cabango ahead of Rodon, too.

Rodon made one bad mistake (which wouldn't have counted had Ramsey taken one for the team by fouling the Armenian player who robbed Rodon), but has been wrongly blamed for the first and third goals, with Ramsey and Johnson far bigger culprits. Cabango really isn't an international level defender, certainly not in a back four. However, given Davies' absence he may need to come in to a back three, with Mepham and Rodon.

He always seems undecided between the 2 keepers and one just conceded 4 at home.
Doesn't trust Cabango
Will want to be more combative in midfield.
Wants a big man up front but could also go Wilson Johnson James re playing on break.

Ward couldn't do anything about any of the goals, all 4 were absolutely buried by the Armenia forwards. As bad as Ward's season has been, Forest signed a new keeper rather than play Wayne, so Wayne's season has been way worse |
