God that was poor, i know weve won, but that was terrible. Against a pretty woeful side we have somehow made it a contest only put to bed by a 97th minute goal.

Latvia reminded me of Wales for a lot of the 80’s, 90’s and noughties. Losing 1-0, should be 3 and you tease your fans that there might be an equalizer in the pipeline only for the dominant team to break away and finish the game off!

Positives: Great result and created plenty of chances
Negatives: We really struggle to take our chances and have done for a long time. It’s less to do with ability than composure I think. We were losing shape, discipline and energy in the second half yet Page waited and waited to make changes.
We deserved to win but easily have thrown it away. On to the next one. We need to win against Croatia so I hope Page has a brainstorm.

I'm going to stick up for Page here, if we'd have taken just a quarter of our very decent chances the performance would have been hailed as a statement win, fantastic display of attacking football etc Page can be held accountable for many things but not Brennan Johnson finishing like a League One level player. |

I am fairly confident of getting 3pts v Turks. Not so confident of getting anything v the Armenians. Forget about the Croats, they could put their u21's out against us and stroll to a 2-0 win.

There is the players though. If they want it enough and you got the three center backs which they like then the players could pull it. Page might not have a large part to play. |

If Brennan scores that chance from a beautiful Ampadu pass in the opening seconds we batter them 4 or 5. We HAVE to get better at finishing, everything else becomes that much easier then.

When you’re doing as badly as we are I would say it’s worth the risk of trying someone else. And if Page miraculously got us qualified, he would then obviously manage us at the tournament again, and we know how’s that’s gone the last two times. Wales Turkey in the euros was his only good game at a tournament. |

But the FAW may (incorrectly) still have kept him on if we lost, so hoping Wales lose just to get rid of Page makes no sense. |
