Be prepared for the ‘Steve Evans’ ticket hard-luck stories. Has it sold out completely this morning. I didn't think it would be long, the take up was better than normal before going on general sale. There was still a few areas not even on sale so thought it would be days rather hours. Impressive if that's the case.

I thought there were tons left before ot went to general sale including some areas that weren't even on sale yet. Seems yo be too quick to me, not sure if something else is going on (e.g. technical hitch)

Even then there would be the battle of finishing top and Rob Page becoming the first manager in Welsh history to do so. Some of his naysayers will end up needing therapy.

Hope it is not like the Poland scenario and there are Turkish fans in the home end.
Could end up very ugly if there is and Turkey score. Could be a reason why it has sold out so quickly after going on general sale.

The account had to have been created before they put the game ticket details up in order to buy tickets, however this was less than last year for Poland where the account had to have previous booking history.

Allowing 10 tickets a booking for such a key game is a touts charter. If they did all go in less than 2 hours something seems very suspect.

Let’s just hope the stewards act quick and prevent any Turkish from entering. I can’t imagine they would enter quietly? Just thinking to myself, can they prevent a person from entering because they believe them to be Turkish? Surely not.

I don't know, it is any different to stopping a Port Vale fan going into the Crewe home end?

How many will show up if it goes tits up in Armenia. The only possible scenario that would render the Turkey game meaningless would result in us having already qualified. We win and Croatia lose. Even then there would be the battle of finishing top and Rob Page becoming the first manager in Welsh history to do so. Some of his naysayers will end up needing therapy. We topped the group for 1976 under Mike Smith.

I recall a 1-0 win at Wrexham. Thumbing it home after the game (something we did in them days) got a lift off four big Turkish lads going back to London.
Scary at first but they were sound thankfully!

I've noticed when they put the top tier on sale the last 2 or 3 rows are always greyed out and not available to purchase for some reason. Used to have a campaign ticket up there for 3 campaigns and haven't been able to do it this campaign. I'd emailed them about it and they said that area had already sold out but that seemed odd to me.

The back 3 rows were definitely on sale for Croatia. I like it up there too but FAW logic is most probably worrying about the top deck not selling out ( as per nations league games) so not being able to offer TTs for sale up there.

Is anyone able to confirm a scenario where we're better off losing this game?
Say we lose to Armenia and Croatia beat Latvia
Croatia on 13, wales and Armenia on 10.
If Armenia beat Croatia 1-0 and we fail to beat turkey, I believe Croatia win the h2h with Armenia on goal difference and finish 2nd. (Croatia won 1-0 in their other game).
But if we also beat turkey it's a 3 way tie on 13 points which sees Armenia on 9, us on 4 and Croatia on 4. If which case Croatia miss out and go into the playoffs as a seed, we could even miss out on the playoffs.

I'm not sure there's any scenario where we could possibly be better off losing this game?
Even if we lose in Armenia we still have a chance of qualifying but it would be out of our hands and relying on other results, but there's no way we're better off losing either game.

If we lose in Armenia and Croatia win in Latvia there is no combination in the final games which see us through.

I think that is in the context of if we dont qualify then we dont want Armenia qualifying. As that reduces our chances of a play off. I think it is easier to see circumstances where we would have been better off losing to Croatia (in hindsight)

Group D in these qualifiers really is the ‘Group of Death’.

If Armenia beat us but only beat Croatia 1-0, I think it's Croatia that qualify on 2 way 2h2. Unless also beat Turkey, in which case Armenia win the 3 way h2h and qualify at Croatia's expense. In which case, we're better of losing/drawing with Turkey
