Info for anyone in North Wales and the north west, there is a flight with play airline from Liverpool on the day of the game, leaving at 11.45, getting into reykjavik at 13.45, currently £71.

Another option on matchday is Easy Jet from Luton at 6am for £115. Same flight on Wednesday is £72
Best I can find out of BRS is EJ to AMS Thursday at 4pm for £45 and then a Transavia from AMS to REY at 6am for £80 ... It might prove a little cheaper spending 8 hours in AMS, than two days in iceland...

IIRC the Play flight back is at silly o'colock for £110 ...
JET2 have a very decent flight Reykjavik to Birmingham on the Monday for £59 Dept 1045 arrive 1435 - so plenty of time to get to CCS!

aNY wELSH FANS STAYING IN HOSTELS? aNY RECOMMENDATIONS? I stayed in Guesthouse Pavi last time for the friendly match, which is now closed. Take a look at 101 Guesthouse Hotel, Laugarvegur on booking.com It's not far from the stadium and in the opposite direction is the main drag into the town. |

The place I stayed was Dalur HI official hostel - it is abut 2km out of town, but right next to the stadium where we are playing, that also has a decent public pool and sauna called Laugardalslaug. I don't really recommend the hostel - very military / regimented with very heavy / noisy fire doors ;-( |

I have a revolut card, when I use it abroad, whether to get cash or use the card to pay for anything it gives me the best exchange rate. I use it every time I go abroad.

There are 2 of us now, need 2 more for a taxi, it's around £20 for the bus and £30 for a taxi, if anyone who is on the play flight from Liverpool on the day of the game wants to join us let me know ad I will book a taxi. |
