It’s a lovely place. Snow gently falling this morning (not going to cause any issues). I’m enjoying it. I knew it was expensive before I came. But wow it’s expensive - hits you between the eyes a bit when you’re actually here! Fish and chips and 1 beer last night about £32. And fish and chips was the cheapest thing. £30 for a breakfast. And you could easily pay more. By the way the American bar does a good deal at lunch. Burger, wings and chips and a beer for about £16.

There are alot of bars that do happy hours, I'm hopefully getting there tomorrow, there are quite a few o know who are going today, they will be on the hunt for the plethora of happy hour bars.

A great trip and one to remember, just wish I had more than one day for sightseeing but maybe next time. I thought food was manageable for price but anything where options were limited like a taxi it was extortionate. Beer reasonable on the whole when balance out the happy hour price and the later in the evening prices I thought. A random question that I would be interested to hear people’s opinions on now it is becoming trendy to list the amount of games abroad you have been I have done 41 away qualifier/friendlies and 8 tournament games. Will Turkey be my 50th Wales away or will that be in a few years time after 8 more 😄

Agree that it was a memorable away trip. Expense was an undoubted feature, but so too was the warm welcome from the Icelandic people. Great to see fans of both sides mixing freely inside and outside the stadium. We were lucky too with the bright clear days and, although chilly most of the time, it made for good walks around the city and harbour areas of Reykjavik. Popped over too to the fishing town of Keflavik and also found that to be a welcoming place. Only downside of the trip on match-night was throwing away our 2 goal advantage in the second half!

Completely agree. A great away, expensive compared to some of them, but thought it wasn't too bad with a little bit of planning. Locals were great, so friendly and welcoming. Such a clean and safe feeling city too. Had a calmer away trip than some of the others in the past, but really enjoyable and always nice to do a bit of sight seeing 😊

Absolutely cracking trip, was my 35th away and definitely one of my favourites.
Yes it was expensive but I find most European capitals are rip-offs by now. A happy hour pint was basically the same as an expensive pint back home.
Think I saw more of the actual country, visiting the Sky Lagoon and Golden Circle, than most aways too. Don't regret it at all, was either that or spending an afternoon in an Irish Bar.
