We'll hopefully see a closer league title race this season given TNS's distraction. It would be amazing if a well supported club like Penybont could be the ones to do it
Might really help attendances if there are tense title race games - something the league has been missing for a while
A more competitive league might also help the attractiveness of the league and the overall interest in it. A sustainable 2nd professional team needs to be the next aim for the league. If in the next 10 years we can have 3 professional teams then we should see more European qualifications

I still think TNS are running away with the league if I'm honest.

I still think TNS are running away with the league if I'm honest. Once their European adventure is over, barring injuries.

I still think TNS are running away with the league if I'm honest. the only way they dont win it is if someone like Penybont can get a head of steam and a good lead whilst TNS are in Europe and before the league split as they will still have to play them 3 times again

I don't subscribe to any channel that is showing the game but fair play for being level at half time, whan you look at the two leagues that's a result in itself, haven't watched it like I said it probably it back's against the wall stuff but still

Tuned in at the start of the second half after coming home and Fiorentina scored 2 goals in 5 mins! Maybe I jinxed them!
Tbh, its been one way traffic the entire half so far.
Ref has been very lenient on the Fiorentina players though…
2-0 is a tremendous result tbf.

Just goes to show the Cymru Premier's isn't as bad as some people make out. No one can say the league hasn't progressed since it's inceptions when you see results like last night on a stage like that

And it was a very strong Liverpool side too - Gerrard scored 5 of the 6 goals, Cisse scored the other.

I think they will win it again but think it's unlikely they run away with it again. They've already dropped more points than usual as a result of their European commitments. They may even end up qualifying for the next stage (apparently 7/8 points is very likely to do it, so 2 wins and a draw potentially), in which case they would have midweek commitments until February. If they do I really can't see them running away with it

1-0 up, fantastic goal for Holden. They have created a few chances from what I've seen (although the stream I'm watching it on keeps dipping in and out). From what I've seen they deserve to be ahead
Astana having left 11 players at home for a big league game at the weekend haven't offered much

2-0.
What does that mean for the co-efficient?

0.500 added to the co-efficient overtaking Georgia and guaranteeing 4 teams in Europe again. No reason they can’t get more results like this

A lot of data projections say that 7 points will be enough to qualify for the knockout stages. So another win and a draw needed. Astana are by no means the weakest team they will play - very promising!

To be honest I have not previously shown any interest in this competition. I assumed it was groups of four until I looked at the league table last night!

To be honest I have not previously shown any interest in this competition. I assumed it was groups of four until I looked at the league table last night! It was in previous seasons. This is the first edition of the league format and I for one am really enjoying it. It eliminates dead rubbers (top of the group playing bottom) and means there will be a lot riding on the final games with the table shifting a lot
