There are many positives changing to a summer league, it should be a no brainer really.

Just as well there are no Welsh clubs left in Europe, shambles for a top-flight division to end up like this though.

It has been confirmed that TNS v Haverfordwest County fc will go ahead this Saturday and will be shown live on Sgorio at 5.15 pm. That will be the only fixture this week end in the Cymru premier. I understand there will be some other fixtures in the division during the lockdown period involving clubs that have enough proffessional staff to deal with thee protocols.

From what I've seen Barry have said they won't play during the 2 week lockdown despite having 21 registered professionals.

The situation can't really be helped, but it's not a good look for domestic football when similar sized countries still have matches being played.
It's a generational event, but the FAW should use this as a learning curve and aim to raise standards across the board once all has settled down.

Just a thought...
With this Brexit deal being agreed, the UK music industry has been well and truly screwed. If a band of any level wants to tour Europe they need to pay a VISA per member (approx £300) per country they visit with other admin costs on top. Unless you're Coldplay this isn't viable to 99% of UK bands/artists.
But is this going to be the same for sports players too?
Surely the Welsh clubs can't afford to pay £300 for each player to travel? I know UEFA would probably cover the cost eventually but it's a big upfront bill. £5,400.00 for an 18 player squad and that's not including the staff.

I'm sure they'll hash something out for the sports/entertainment industry, or UEFA will have some sort of bursary available.

What are the chances of fans being allowed back in by the end of the season, anyone have any inside knowledge?

Missed opportunity to get people through the gates watching the league and helping clubs with gate revenue. More should have been done to get fans in safely imo. A lot of games have had fans congregating outside anyway.

I think fans at Cymru Premier is a step too far at the moment. Feel more for Cymru South and Cymru North clubs who were not granted elite status and could not even play the agreed reduced season. FAW could have and should have done more,

I guess if you let Cardiff Met you have to say why not Cardiff City. It’s one thing to have restrictions and well thought out action plan for safe return but it’s another thing to police it. We’ve made this pandemic hard for ourselves and still people can’t get used to wearing masks properly, or even at all, or social distancing. You can put all the hazard tape in the world down but you’ll still have people breathing in your ear in a queue in the supermarket. If we could follow some easy to remember set out rules we’d be out of this by now. My mother lives in Cyprus and this was behind them a long time ago.

An interesting end to the season in the Cymru Premier. TNS and Connah's Quay separated at the top only on goal difference, and play against each other in the Sgorio match tomorrow evening. Close at the bottom with Aber, Cardiff Met and Flint all trying to avoid joining Cefn in the bottom two at the end of the season.

Prospect of two years with TNS not finishing top again is exciting, hoping for a good game tomorrow. Elsewhere bottom of the table is irrelevant with no relegation, Haverfordwest can't qualify for Europe so they've seemingly given up on 7th. I think most teams / fans want to see the back of this one! I'd still love to get in to watch a game, just want to watch live football at this point.

Was doing some research yesterday and with the new Europa League Conference coming in next season we have a decent shot at getting a side into the group stage of that. Whoever wins the league will enter the 1st qualifying round of the Champions and if it's TNS they are likely to be seeded (Connah's Quay I'm doubtful would be), win in the 1st qualifying round will guarantee a play off place for the Europa League conference, due to the nature of losing teams dropping down the competitions. Essentially it means whoever wins the league next season has to win 2 ties to guarantee a place in the group stage of that competition. Would be a first for a Cymru Premier side to win 2 ties in a year but I feel no unachievable.

Barry Town will be for if I want to see a Cymru Prem game. Also occasionally go to Taffs Well and Aberystwyth. Will try and get to Llantwit Major at some point

Crackin game so far. 2-1 Cei Connah What a result for them in the end. Should give them the confidence to go outright for the title again. I'm sure even though they were given the title last season, that they will want to win it "properly" this year

Hopefully more fans will start supporting their local team in the welsh pyramid instead of lining the pockets of owners and overpaid players

Another big night in the title race, TNS missing a penalty and dropping points against a resolute 9 man Caernarfon. Amazing performance from the Cofi goalie Lewis Brass to keep a clean sheet.
Should be another cracker on Saturday between TNS and Cei Connah again.

Massive result for the title race last night, could be wrapped up by the weekend.
Newtown are the form team in Playoff Conference... 6 games, 5 wins, 1 draw - 17 goals. Will be tough but they'll fancy their chances going into the playoffs if they keep it up.

The title race in Wales goes down to the wire in the final day of games then on Saturday 15th May (12 midday kick offs). Current standings - Connah's Quay lead the Saints by 2 points, but a much inferior goals difference. Last game for Nomads away at a dangerous but slightly out of form Penybont. Saints are at home to the in-form Bala. One would expect Nomads have to go for the victory.
