One of the few lower league players we have who could go further.
Personally think he is a better prospect than Bodin for example

Nottingham Forest, Bristol City and Ipswich Town are eyeing moves for Peterborough United winger Gwion Edwards www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/05/15/forest-among-clubs-tracking-poshs-edwards/Edwards has impressed at Peterborough since joining the club from Crawley Town in the summer of 2016. The former Swansea City youngster is regarded as one of the best attackers outside the top two leagues following a string of impressive performances for Peterborough. The versatile attacker scored seven goals and registered five assists in 33 games in all competitions for Posh and his displays have not gone unnoticed elsewhere higher up the football pyramid. Nottingham Forest boss Aitor Karanka is planning major changes at the City Ground this summer with a number of players coming in and several heading out and Edwards is thought to figure on his wanted list. Bristol City chief Lee Johnson is looking to add some pace and width to his side next season and he is keeping tabs on Edwards, while managerlesss Ipswich are are also in the market for attacking reinforcements as they were among the lowest goalscorers in the Championship this season. Peterborough would be reluctant to lose Edwards this summer, but they are bracing themselves for interest in the player when the transfer window opens.

Gwion was out injured from Xmas until the end of March. Great to see he has been back in the last 7 matches of the season and in demand by decent teams.

Still a long shot that he can contribute to the national team but definitely one to look out for!

Would have loved to have seen Gwion take young Jack Vale under his wing at the Rovers

I'm looking forward to see how he does in the Championship. Exciting player and a Ceredigion boy!

Football's a strange one. Get released for not being good enough and then ends up playing against said team in the league a few years later.

Sounds like he’s had hell of a game for Ipswich, instrumental in both goals.

Have high hopes for Gwion , have thought for a long time that he will make the grade at a high level.
Mick McCarthy said he was a class apart today.
Shame Giggs was too busy watching Salford.

For a £700,000 fee, Gwion Edwards must be the bargain of the season.
Is he knocking loud enough on Ryan's door? I certainly hope he will be at Pride Park tomorrow. I know he is 25 years-old, but if you are good enough, you are old enough ;-)
