Just wondering? Cardiffs final game is 7/5. The final is 14/5. Tevez might still be injured.... Did Bellamy play for Cardiff in the FA cup?

If Cardiff were pushed down into the playoffs, wouldn't they have extra games beyond the 7th of May? Bellamy would be needed for those surely?

Bellamy's loan is till the end of the season so he will return to City when Cardiff have played all thier games. Unless of course City recall him

Unless of course City recall him As it's a season-long loan, Man City don't have right of recall on this particular deal. I don't know what happens after May 7th if Cardiff's season ends with promotion (or a 7th placed finish) on that date.

Didn't look committed today against NI. Wandering around like a prima donna. Lacked discipline and was rightly hauled off.

Shut up man he played well

Played well? That he did. Especially in the first half. Now defend the fact that he was swanning around in the deep playmaker role when he had no right to be there. What was that all about?

Perhaps cos he is 1 of Wales' ONLY playmakers with Ramsey, Bale, Collison? Do not forget, not all of them CAN, DO turn up for Wales each match either cos of long term injuries etc!

Although Bellamy is nowhere near the player he was a couple of seasons ago, he is still a class act on his day, and certainly still worth a place in our starting line-up.

Much prefer him to be further up the pitch so that he can use his pace to good effect. Perhaps he chose the wrong options a couple of times but it was nice to see him strike up a good understanding with Taylor.

I think he will play on til his son is old enough to represent Wales in some meaningless friendly and then they can set a record for having a father and son in the same international team.
Sounds mad but let's see.

That would be mental! Have a father and son ever played international football in the same team together?

it's not inconceivable; 38 year old goalie and 18 year old son.

I'm 99.9% sure it's happened before for either the Faroe Islands or Iceland; a father and son have played together in the same team. If not, it was a situation where it was possible as both were in the matchday squad. My memory fails me as tp which it was.
Can't recall who the players were or even the team (as you can probably see), but have a dig around on google if you want to read about it.

I think it was Eidur Gudjohnsen, I think he came on as a substitute for his dad.

"On 24 April 1996, Guðjohnsen and his father Arnór entered football history when playing in an international friendly for Iceland against Estonia in Tallinn. Arnór started the match, and Guðjohnsen came on in the second half as a substitute for his father." They weren't on the pitch at the same time and the opportunity for that was lost when Eidur broke his ankle before the next match.

So considering Gudjohnsen came on FOR his old man, does that mean that Craig and Ellis Bellamy still have a chance of becoming the first father and son to play international football TOGETHER?

Obviously, Ellis would have to actually be any good first. Let's see where he is at the age of 18.
