Very sad state of affairs whats happening with Bellamy, the anger is understandable but the criticism of Flynn seems very harsh. Toshack was as harsh and stubborn as you could be with anyone who showed dis-respect to the shirt, but his squads were consistently desimated by withdrawals and retirement. Why should Flynn get on his hands and knees to any player? Bellamy is 30, not 16 and he will make his own decisions. Since getting the job, every word out of Flynns mouth has been positive, patriotic and dignified. As hard as it is after 6 years of nothingness, lets follow his lead and give him the support he deserves. Bellamy wont play on Friday and the attendance will be 6k shy because of it, ill be there because its Brian Flynns team and ive got faith in it. He hasnt even had a game yet so lets give him a fair crack of the whip; I also thought he should have been given the whole campaign. By the by, I think this situation might well have resulted in Bellamy retiring had Onslow still been in charge. Im gutted and angry at Bellamy, but his knees wont do 2 games a week, its no surprise that being a squad player at M City suited him and Wales, he's simply not in a position to play 40+ games a season (personally wish he'd gone to Spurs). Sorry for the rant, 1st time post and needed to vent a little!

After seeing Mr Bellamy has just recently scored for Cardiff and isnt anywhere near the squad for a our crucial next two games I wanna say I think its time for him to dissapear, the guy obviously isnt concerned too much about Wales anymore as he has seemed to have chosen Cardiff City away to Barnsley in a must win fixture (rolls eyes). I dont want comments like 'oh but look how great hes been in the past with wales and turning up etc' because frankly I dont give a shit. I am concerned about NOW and whats gone on which is totally unacceptable. Cardiff City and Mr Dave THE CUNT Jones should be disgusted with themselves and the total disrespect they have shown wales I am utterly dissapointed by what has gone on and I do not want him playing for us again.
THE END

Bellamy, Cardiff or Flynn need to explain why this has happened. Or there is going to be a shitload of angry Welsh supporters.

I agree but I would rather have an explanation of whats happened before we start pointing fingers. It isn't like Cardiff are packed full of internationals. Whats happened to their Scottish keeper, has he pulled out or is he with the squad?

this really needs to be explained,it's almost a full week until the bulgaria game.are flynn and jones saying that bellamy wouldnt have been playing next weekend if there had been no international break and cardiff had a game ? he'll probably play the first game after the international break surely he can play friday and miss the swiss game. this is so uncharacteristic of bellamy it is unreal.surely he doesnt want to be lumped into the same catagory as giggs, koumas, etc.

Bellamy has always been proud to play for us in the past- I doubt that has changed.
Its all down to Dave Jones hating international football and Flynn being weak. Flynns interview on the bbc website indicates that he was actually happy for Bellamy to miss the game as it gives someone else a chance, thats not the right attitude imo as we dont have anyone else as good as Bellamy to come in. I think Bellamy has Flynns blessing to play for Cardiff.

Sorry for the rant, 1st time post and needed to vent a little! the critisism of flynn is due to the fact that he is the manager and he let this happen,he cant hide behind tosh anymore and the buck stops with him now and he needs to get used to that and quickly.i know he's new and naive but surely he knew that this was unlikely to go unnoticed and that the controversy surrounding it will overshadow everything else. i know its hard to critisise flynn cos he's a nice man with our good intentions at heart but he's misjudged this one big time.

Sorry Bellend, you're a Judas.
You should have retired before Flynn's squad was announced.
I'm not interested in any facts other than:
Fit for Cardiff but not fit for Wales.
F*ck off you're unreliable.

Dave Jone is a toal fucking spanner. SEriosuly, Bellamy should be at least on the becnh for bulagari and used as a second half impact sub and should start in basle at least? i think flynn is being foolish and weak, and maybe just maybe has fucked his chances up at being full time manager in my eyes. i hate dave jones

I'm dissapointed in Craig but there is a reason he's not playing and it's not Dai Jones.
Some over the top opinions on here.

I'm dissapointed in Craig but there is a reason he's not playing and it's not Dai Jones. Some over the top opinions on here. youre right about over the top opinions but we're passionate about wales (yes i know, not many of us)and thats what football is all about.you've every right to defend jones and cardiff as they are your club but imagine your reaction if bellamy was still at man city and played for them today after being ruled out of the wales game with injury. trouble is now, this could turn into a cardiff vs rest of wales thing with cardiff fans blindly defending jones and swansea fans using it to have a go at cardiff. im a welsh fan and dont support a club side so i can look at it in a more balanced view than most and in my opinion, bellars, flynn and jones dont come out well in this. the only person to gain in this is jones as flynn and bellamys reputation has been tarnished but jones (quite rightly) doesnt care what the rest of wales thinks of him.

it seems like all the feel good factor in him playing for cardiff this season has disappeared.

I pray to God that Flynn gets his 4-6 points and we are still in contention in March. Then you can bet your bottom dollar that Bellamy will fit and raring to go and Giggs will annouce he is coming out of retirement. Personally, as much as I rate these players over the past, I would love to see Flynn suddenly holding all the aces and maybe just maybe telling them they are not actually required any more.

The full truth has yet to come out, but the fact he has played 90mins today says he should be in the squad. I'm really not happy, and I think Bellamy has a lot of questions to answer - not Flynn or Jones - but Bellamy. The least I'd expect now is a new captain - he's lost all credibility and the armband in my opinion.

Flynn was happy for him to play and not be in the squad so why blame Bellamy/Jones?
Bring back Toshack. At least Bellamy turned up........................................!
......but did he? What was the last qualifying match he actually turned up for?!

Why quit following international football over this? It's wrong but there's still a team to support, and they bloody well need our support. I've given passionately and at times in detrement to work opportunities etc over many decades Saints, I have nothing left to give. I probably spend about 2K a year watching Wales, small change to these footballers who can't be bothered but a lot of money to us average Joes, why should I do it any longer?

its all very strange,in the past bellamy has been quite commited, but this is a disgrace
flynn needs to react to this,id call him up regardless of any cosy chats he may have had with dave jones
this is championship cardiff walking all over the national set up,its not on and something should be done about it
