Let's all do our bit... 1. Share the Tournament Ticket link on Facebook & Twitter. Encourage other fans to share or re-tweet the link. 2. Persuade someone else you know to get a tournament ticket before the allocation sells out, mention the 25 per cent discount. 3. Sign up to the Wales v Bosnia event pages on Facebook - and invite your friends. 4. Share the Bosnia & Cyprus ticket links on Facebook, Twitter and any football message boards you are a member of. 5. Persuade at least five other family members, friends, neighbours or colleagues to get a ticket for the Bosnia and/or Cyprus games. 6. Text all your football mates to ask if they're going. Mention the low prices. 7. If you're driving to Cardiff, offer a lift to a few other people. 8. Encourage the Wales players to tweet about the match. 9. Buy in advance. Good advance sales encourages others to buy too. 10. Get on the football phone-ins and talk about the importance of the Bosnia game. We'll hopefully get over 20,000 - but it would be great to get even more. What a difference a year makes! Hard to believe it was just 13 months ago that I wrote this. We aimed to get bums on seats but who could have predicted we'd get four crowds of 30k plus, as well as three sell-outs?! Well done to everyone who shared the Bosnia ticket links on social media, etc. It may have seemed a small thing at the time, but from small acorns...

Reasons to buy a Tournament Ticket: 1. 25 per cent discount (£25 saving) on individual match prices. So as long as you intend to go to 4 out of the 5 matches, you're saving money. 2. Cheap tickets for under 16s and OAPs - £18.75 for a whole campaign. 3. Best choice of seats: half way line? In the singing section at the back of the Canton? Good seats in the Family Stand? Get a Tournament Ticket. 4. No booking fees (edit: or perhaps there are - see posts below. Better make that "4.. Only one booking fee, rather than 5 separate fees"). 5. No postage costs. 6. All the tickets posted out together before the start of the campaign. 7. No queuing to buy or collect tickets on a match day. 8. No missing out on Belgium, Israel or Andorra if there's a sudden surge in interest. 9. Guaranteed ticket for the home leg if we finish third & end up in the play-offs. 10. Loyalty points: 3 for membership & 6 for buying a Tournament Ticket. You want a ticket for France if we qualify? 9 points is the equivalent of going to 4 and a half away games. Anything I've missed? Number 1: Tournament Ticket holders effectively got the Andorra match for free! Number 8: turned out to be spookily accurate! Number 9: please forgive my pessimism. Number 10: turned out useful too.

Thanks for the update. Should the FAW had these on sale weeks ago? The WRU always hve tickets out well in advance and advertise and theirs are much more expensive. I do agree. They had all these 'StrongerTogether' posters up but no information on them, no fixture dates or ticket prices. Waste of time. If they had kicked their ass into gear that promotion could have had information and got extra crowds to the games not just a driving by 'oh look there's Gareth Bale' comment and never to think of the national football team again. Yeah those Together Stronger posters were a waste of time weren't they...

This is now a great opportunity for the FAW. Coleman at his squad announcement on Wednesday and the players when they meet up next Sunday/Monday should ALL be talking about wanting to see a big crowd for the opening qualifier. There's a great line in yesterday's Cardiff City programme: "We're all proud that Cardiff City Stadium is playing a central part in Wales qualifying campaign. Now let's turn that pride into positive vibes by filling the place for every home game." That's exactly the sort of thing Coleman and the players should be stressing. Let's fill the place. Love the way that Coleman and the players have talked about the importance of the fans this year. It's been immense.

Amazing reading this thread back now. What a difference a year has made. I don't think any of us will have to count empty seats online again for a few years!

Amazing reading this thread back now. What a difference a year has made. I don't think any of us will have to count empty seats online again for a few years! It really is. I remember telling loads of part time footballing friends to get a tournament ticket as something special could happen this campaign, obviously I was ignored! I just can't help thinking about the stark contrast in nights like Tuesday compared to Croatia home 2013 at the liberty. Absolutely crazy.

Due to current life events I haven't been able to watch the senior side in the flesh this campaign, so I've been confined to watching every single match in my local, where I've witnessed a microcosm of what's happened throughout Wales over the past 18 months.
That first match out in Andorra saw me sat in my Wales shirt by the pool table...alone...cheering us on via the small screen. By the bar the usual local retirees were there demanding the sound was turned way down whilst berating the team every now and again when casting glances towards my little tv, they were busy watching some Johnny Cash documentary on the big screens and discussing Utd's chances of turning things around under Van Gaal.
By the time the first Cyprus match had arrived the match had taken over all screens in the pub and the volume was now on, I finally had some company by the pool table...another two or three randoms had decided to land with Wales tops on. The locals at the bar were now watching Wales but still berating the team's overall quality.
By Israel away, the match had taken over, with about 40 Wales fans now present with everyone glued to the tv's.
By last Tuesday? I'd lost my little spot by the pool table, it was standing room only and the doors were shut. The locals at the bar were once again in-situ...brand new and shiny Wales tops to match lol!

I am finding this - from scoop76 and Texan - very moving.
Genuinely felt that we all, led by scoop, made a difference in advance of the Bosnia vs Cyprus double header. It does present the other side of the argument to core fans not being welcoming.

I even saw a french flag hanging on the back of a car today. It was a british numberplate, so whether this was in relevance to the football or the rugby I have no idea!

Christ haven't been in the Eagles since I was about 12! I had one game (well, sub, didn't even get on!) for Segontium Rovers and the coaches took us there for a chippy lunch after the game one Saturday in 1989.
