Yes, good vocal support in Greece outside of TV camera shot (Q: Were Chris Coleman and Kit Symons in the stand, by any chance?)
Will be good if: (a) the team plays a little better tomorrow night vs Slovenia, to secure the play-off spot; and (b) the crowd figure reaches 11,000 plus!

Coleman's club side also had a match at the weekend, and a couple of Wales fans made it down there.

An important game for Wales Ladies with a probable record crowd in attendance and Sky Sports has nothing on the game as far as I can see. They have some text about one of the England girls winning her 50th cap though....seems that they have forgotten that they have subscribers outside of England....shocking

Might get close to 3x the record by match day

Is a draw enough for Wales to guarantee a playoff spot?

Is a draw enough for Wales to guarantee a playoff spot? Yes, I think so. They only need 1 point if I remember correctly.

Is a draw enough for Wales to guarantee a playoff spot? Yes, as Slovenia are the only team that can catch them.

Also, Rhiannon Roberts winning her 50th time cap.

Hayley Ladd, Gemma Evans take a bow. Carrie Jones is some player,
Well done girls, can't take my eyes off you now, just 2 more games to the WC.

Rhiannon Roberts as well. They’ll have to take it to another level to get there but they’ll be up for it

Rhiannon Roberts as well. They’ll have to take it to another level to get there but they’ll be up for it Yeah there was a really low bar set tonight. I can’t imagine they can play that badly over two legs against another second placed side and still go through. Still they could always have played well but lost so fair play to them for getting through and hopefully they can get over the final hurdle. Hmm…just heard them say on the BBC that they are still 2/3 games away- is it a two legged semi and then a final?!

Clearly a lot of nerves on show tonight but glad the girls are taking after the boys and grinding out results when they need them!

A match low on quality but plenty of grit and determination. Looked like we were playing for a draw from the off. Obviously worked but not sure what a draw rather than win means for the play offs though. Match well seen out in injury time.
Will need to play better in the play offs.

Very low quality match and wasn't pretty, but a tremendous result in front of an incredible crowd in the CCS.
Any idea who else is in the play off draw? Opponents etc.

Can someone explain the next steps please? I know the playoff draw takes place on Friday - is that for a semis and then a final? Also heard, depending on how well we've done, we may have to win an inter-continental playoff after winning the Euro playoff final?

Da iawn ferched! Fantastic achievement to make the playoffs for the first time.
I'm no expert on the Women's game, but the European qualifiers have been the same teams for so long, and it's good that we are finally able to compete - i.e. no 5 - 0 thrashings to France!
We missed out on the Euro 2022 Playoffs, which have more European teams qualifying than the World cup (similar to the mens qualifying process), so further progress has been made.
Just goes to show that with the extra prize funding the FAW has had from the men's Euror2016/2020 has been distributed across all platforms in our game. This will only get better with us qualifying for tournaments regularly.
Hopefully, the playoffs will see a bigger record crowd (sell out?) at CCS.

Carrie Jones is some player, Well done girls, can't take my eyes off you now, just 2 more games to the WC. three- in all probability. possibly 4 It would be very unlikely having drawn last night that we would go straight through after two wins. If we win our play off route in Uefa I think we only go to inter continental play offs

Yes- even if we win the play off semi and final (free, one legged, draws I think- else we are away), unless Bosnia (the only worse side in the play offs record wise), then we have to go to NZ in February to win more play offs- probably just a final as we would probably be top seeds

This explains it quite well www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/wales-womens-world-cup-play-24941029Could be 2 matches or could be 5? Including a qualifying tournament in New Zealand next February. In first round, will be playing one of Scotland, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Portugal or Belgium.

Wales really missed Jess Fishlock last night. Not that much creativity in midfield, and I was really fearful that Slovenia might have nicked a late goal.

Well done to the ladies for qualifying for the play-offs. Two poor performances, but job done. Hope they get the weakest team left at home next, whoever that is? Otherwise, despite BBC hype I'm afraid disappointment beckons, scoring remains a big problem. We need Jess Fishlock fit asap. Carrie Jones the best Cymru player last night, and a few of the others put in a good shift, Hayley Ladd, Gemma Evans and Roberts stood out for me. Watched the live S4C game on Sunday between Swansea and Cardiff Met ladies, trying hard not to be sexist but it was like watching paint dry, I've seen better U12 boys games. Did it really justify live broadcasting, would have preferred a Welsh Premier fixture. Sorry!

Qualification from here still looks incredibly tough. Have to win the first playoff round and then the second and unless Bosnia also manage to achieve that same feat all that will earn the girls is an intercontinental playoff spot. You would hope they would be top seeds in that and only need to play one game to qualify but wow does it look tough.

Wow, that does sound incredibly complicated and tough. So it looks like the best outcome will still leave the girls in the intercontinental cup after two wins. Lets hope for two home draws, and a drive to fill the grounds. I wonder if anyone on this vaulted forum is an expert on the standard of Asian, South American, and African women's football. Interesting that Keira Walsh went to Barcelona today for £400k, more than Dylan Levitt cost Dundee united.

Big day for the women's side with the play-off draw coming up at 12.30. For context: 'According to Fifa's world rankings, Belgium, in 19th, are the strongest team Wales - who are 30th - could face in the play-off semi-finals. Austria are ranked 20th by Fifa, with Scotland 23rd, Portugal 27th and Bosnia-Herzegovina 63rd.' www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62847486Bosnia then please!
