Is Taylor on Twitter? Someone tweet him and ask if he had a knock.

I don't think he's on there. Maybe too emotional to play? Who knows what went on behind the scenes last night.

Reading a Coleman interview on the ebc site, it doesn't sound like Coleman covered himself in glory this week... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17215104Still, might have turned into an inadvertent bonding session for the two of them. Let's hope so!

I agree Collins has made mistakes but he is still the only centre back other than Williams playing at the top level. He has played a few times when he wasn't fully fit and has limitations but there are reasons why he has been wanted by a lot of premier league clubs and the alternatives are in the championship or championship reserves

I can only imagine Taylor wasn't 100% - the decision not to play him would be bizarre otherwise. exactly what i thought...Ricketts played well when he came on.

Collins...has played a few times when he wasn't fully fit But he was barely fit after his cruciate injury in Monchengladbach but he was a colossus. I suppose a player can't keep churning out performances like that if they're not fully fit but I don't think he's had the injury issues you seem to suggest

I read that...seems crazy. That said, if Rodgers can improve him, I won't complain.

Would be great for us, naturally.
I think Ginge can be a much better player than many give him credit for here.

That's not a bad shout IMHO. Was actually thinking the other day that Swansea needed to sign a "good in the air centre half". Adebayor's goals on Sunday definitely underlined that and given that Caulker likely to return to Tottenham next season, Colllins would fit the bill. 3 Welsh players in the back 4 would be great n all or even 4 "Welsh qualified" ; )

5 reasons it wont happen.
1. James Collins is a clogger. 2. Swansea would never pay that sort of money for anyone that old or that rubbish. 3. He doesn't like Ash and certainly wouldn't want to be second fiddle to him at Swansea as well as Wales. 4. Clubs everywhere will be desperate to loan their youngsters to Swansea. 5. Players everywhere that need to prove themselves will be desperate to sign for Swansea.

That's my belief after the whole captaincy thing and watching him shout at Ash for the whole Sweden game despite Ash playing with a dead leg.

It seems so unlikely, but for it to have made the papers you'd imagine there must be something to it. I wonder where this rumour has come from?

That's my belief after the whole captaincy thing and watching him shout at Ash for the whole Sweden game despite Ash playing with a dead leg. In reference to the Captaincy, I guess you mean this from two years back? news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/league_of_wales/9322713.stm I was unaware of any bad blood with Collins and Williams, but what I do know is when they play alongside each other they get the worst out of each other aside from Germany away in October 2008. There's a reason why Speedo left out Collins from the England match onwards and put his belief in Darcy. and Darcy and Ash look better as a pairing than Ginge and Ash ever did tbh! Brendan, no to Collins please!

Yep, all Collins did was have a go at Ash that night. Completely unjustified, especially considering his dead leg.

Also i think Chris Gunter/Adam Matthews or Sam Ricketts would do better job as a right back for swansea instead of Angel Rangel...

Rangel likes to forget that he is a defender.

he had a cracking match vs liverpool by all accounts Caulker has had a cracking match virtually everytime he's played for Swansea. They'd be better off spending £10m on Caulker than £5m on a has been like ginger nuts.

he had a cracking match vs liverpool by all accounts He CAN produce the goods, all of us have seen this in his early days with Cardiff City, the season or two with West Ham and when O'Neill was Villa manager, he was 1 of the best defenders in the Premier League alongside Dunne who he formed a good partnership with! He's not been nowhere near that since O'Neill left and his last and perhaps best shift for us was against Germany away four years back! ----------------------------------------- Stu, yeah Rangel does like to forget he's a defender! Not had a consistent season and was dreadful again on Friday. Is it time for Jazz to come in? ------------------------------------------- Cadnollan and Flynn, Chris Gunter, Adam Matthews or Sam Ricketts or even Darcy Blake as mentioned would do a better job than Rangel, but I hope that Gunter and Blake shall be in the Premier League from August anyway!

James Collins is someone who takes an unprofessional attitude towards his work on occasion. Not sure why he would be a 'scumbag' though?
