I don't think anyone's disputing you can rely on Rambo to be available. Just a massive shame considering he's probably the best midfielder we've ever produced |

Just a massive shame considering he's probably the best midfielder we've ever produced It was a controversial thought a while back when someone suggested it but it’s worth re-visiting again now: who is his successor? Probably Johnny Williams, another one who can’t be relied upon! It’s hard not to think that Wales has some of the most fragile players around. How many other countries suffer such regular injuries to their best players? One or two maybe but we have such a history of it. |

I’d wait and see if he plays for Juve first. I suspect he’ll be in contention for Saturday. Either way I think it’s turned out nicely for Pirlo. Would he take two weeks in quarantine for Ronaldo vs Ronaldo playing 90 minutes for his country and potentially getting a serious injury? And Ramsey playing one game at the weekend before being sent back? |

Don't get me wrong... it's FACKING FRUSTRATING!!!
At the end of the day, as much as I hate to say it, club football comes first.
Remember when Gareth Bale didn't play against England back in 2011 because he had a slight hamstring situation. He COULD have played, but a decision was made to ensure the game didn't make it worse which could leave him out for months. And that was a competitive game where England ruined us.
But look what Gareth Bale ended up doing for us.
As Coleman once said, it's the clubs that pays the players' wages. They're not our players.
There was a time where Wenger would not drop Ramsey when it was blatantly clear he needed a rest. He ended up pulling a muscle and being out for 4-5 months. Unfortunately, he's a player that needs to be tailored and treated right.
Ramsey probably only has a slight niggle, but if it's too much of a risk to play an immediate competitive game, the FAW's medical experts would say so. We need a player of that class for the Euros so every effort must be made to ensure a player like that gets there.

It seems to be a recurring theme that fit as whippet *Welsh* footballers can't manage 90 minutes without picking up some sort of injury or ultra fatigue. At the very least someone in Giggs's team needs to be specifically monitoring who to bring off in games when they look near enough finished. |
