He was superb. No doubt he'll start against Uruguay/Czechs on Monday.

The next time Wilson loses his place in the starting XI, save for injury, he'll be in his 30s. He played the Ramsey position today. Whilst he had a very good game, he’s not at Ramsey's level yet. Excellent addition to the squad, but certain starter fir the next 10 years I’m not so sure (yet)

I know China weren't exactly the highest standard of opposition but Harry took his goal so well!
Was a great assist for Vokes' goal and let's be honest, if Bale put away that ball after Harry's awesome pass then we'd all been waxing lyrical about him.
Yeah, he's far from the finished article but he definitely knows where the goal is and how to pass.
I was also impressed with his defensive work and willingness to track back (something that it seemed Crewe weren't happy with when he was there)

Or better still Bale-Wilson-Brooks/Woodburn/Lawrence with Ramsey in King's position.

Fantastic to see his stock rise so much since February, from out of nowhere it looks like he's going to be right in the mix to start during the nations league etc. Every time he gets on the ball you feel he's going to do something.

I've given Vokes a lot of deserved criticism beforehand, but if he continues to perform like he did against China under Giggs, he keeps his place.

I bet Woodburn is gutted inside that Wilson has taken his spotlight (for now). Lawrence might be feeling the same thing. And that is fantastic for the national team, finally we have players fighting for places!

Great shout, or even go to a flat 4 with Allen and Ampadu holding and Ramsey just in front.

I agree only Ramsey and either Ampadu or Ledley to come in to starting 11
Woodburn and Brooks challenging Wilson and Vokes
Mind you we never have a full squad so the more talent the better.
The emergence of Wilson Woodburn Ampadu and possibly Mepham should mean we don't need average championship or lower players as much as we have in the passed
Bradshaw, Lockyer, Bodin, Hedges and Watkins for example. These players will really need to kick in to be a part of it.
It also reduces our dependancy on the injury prone Williams and Huws who for me are squad members at best Like King and Edwards have been. So important but not vital.

It does make you ponder why there was a close on 5 year gap between first and second cap.

Very good, he looks like he could be developing in2 player we hoped he would and formation we played suited him down to ground. The way he defended from front, getting his foot in made me think we had a 2nd Joe Allen but only up top lol. Good runs off ball, can see a through ball it seems and what a finish for goal.

Yeah the loan move to Crewe didn't help and he had a few injuries (broken toe among them) which kept him out of action. Looks like he's bulked up over the past few years and it just seems to have clicked for him

He's been injured a hell of a lot in the last five years which has hampered his career massively. More than any Welsh player I can remember. Hopefully any long term ailments are taken care of.

I think he had a loan move to Crewe that didn’t work out too It is his footballing ability that makes me question the five year gap. We all know the reason for the few minutes in Brussels but my point is he could have been good enough earlier than five years.

Harry's goal against China - did anyone think it was deflected in any way. I didn't feel it was but two people I know thought it was. I've watched the goal from a few angles and the ball flight doesn't seem to dip or change direction dramatically.

Deflected? The defender was no where near him. Quality goal made and finished by young Harry.

The emergence of Harry Wilson in the China Cup is a massive plus for us going forwards. He may not have been as influential against Uruguay, but his superb whipped delivery from the free kick at the end of the first half was of the highest order, and deserving of a goal and an undeserved half-time lead. Combine that with his pacy corners against China and there's reason to think we finally may be able to resolve the conundrum of having Bale on the end of Bale set-piece deliveries. Together with Woodburn, who has similar set-piece capability, we have added two tremendous assets to our armoury.

Overall I'd say he has answered some questions namely 'he's great at u23 level but can he play senior football?' I think so. Also he seems to have filled out a little bit which was also a question mark some had on him.

Harry Wilson the most exciting thing in Welsh football since Bale and Ramsey. Until Woodburn plays regularly first team football then it’s just promise.

So good to see him continue his form. If he carries on he might be on loan to a Premier League club next season.

Great to see him finally developing, hope ward an woodburn are taking note as think both now need time away from Liverpool next season with a full season playing first team footy in championship. Ampadu too as don’t think he is gonna get week in week out games at Chelsea
