Osian Roberts was on Radio Cymru and he said that the Ukraine was a possibility and that they were still in discussions with a few others regarding the March 28th friendly, but nothing had been confirmed as of yet.

Prefer a home game really, a send off to France , And selfish as trip away to anywhere just before euros is out of question.... Have to remember it could be a month long campaign if all goes well

know people who have booked flights already... certainly wouldn't risk it given the mystery friendly against Poland that never happened last year....

From now on I'm intending to go away a lot more, but as I've only been away to Cyprus so far I need to assess if I'll get a ticket before I book flights etc... Any idea what our allocation will be and how easy/difficult it will be to get a ticket? Cheers!!

Lots of fans will be saving for France which will reduce numbers even more.

The lad I'd normally go with can't make this trip so just gotta decide whether or not to travel on my own. If I go, I'll definitely be flying out of Heathrow and on the Saturday (probably) come back on the Tuesday.....hopefully there will be others traveling via that route too so won't exactly be on my own!!!

For those of us in South Wales, return flights with KLM sound reasonable. £250 return - Saturday - Tuesday. 5 hours each way - 1 change in Amsterdam.

I can't see there being a huge demand for tickets either. A game in Ukraine will put some off as well.
I usually go to the away games on my own. Plenty others that do so as well.
Sounds like the Ukrainian locals are pretty friendly anyway :-) www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/marriage-ukrainian-style-hopeful-bachelors-from-all-over-the-world-head-to-odessa-in-search-of-a-8701428.html

So you are using the football as an excuse. ;-) Unfortunately I won't be going. Would have loved to have gone but gotta watch the pennies between now and June. 'Friendly locals' is always a good enough reason for a trip, so don't need football as an excuse :-)
I was told that one fan met his future spouse on an away trip, not sure if that is true of not?

I can't get to home games as it is living in the South East of England so I doubt I will have more chance living abroad! My appetite for away games was whetted some what by the Israel trip so my intention now is to go to the more out of the way places that we play in, starting with Ukraine and then hopefully Moldova, Georgia and Serbia.

I went to Israel on my own and was pretty apprehensive about it, however not long after arriving I was having a drink with gwernybwch himself and then trying to find a bar in Jaffa that would serve us with some of the other members of this forum. You meet enough characters that going on your own shouldn't be a problem.

Belgrade is good, and if you have the time and money take the overnight train to Skopje. You will love it.

Plenty of better places than Skopje to visit if you're in Serbia! ;-) I'll probably write something up with suggestions for the trip when the next campaign commences.

Just gonna wait and see what comes out of the FAW re confirmation/tickets etc... before I do anything else. If everything fits I'll be taking the plunge and going!!!

Yeah I wish they would just go ahead and book the damn thing. I am not sure what nights to book- I was going to do Sunday til mid week but in order to get a good feel *ahem* for the night life I guess Friday to Tuesday/Wednesday would make more sense. Either way I should wait to see if the fixture materialises first and take it from there...

even Scotland have confirmed their Friendlies for March as well as Northern Ireland.
Getting beyond a joke this now. Come so far on the pitch yet behind the scenes its no secret the FAW are still in the stone ages.

Things a lot better than they used to be. In 2000, Qatar game was confirmed in Jan for a month later and that was one hell of a mad scramble. 17 of us went
