Taking my time and seeing France now that I have the opportunity. If you want a bit of "Welshness" on your way down to Bordeaux drop in to this place, Mortagne-sur-Gironde, where the memorial to Owain Lawgoch is. Good shout! Any other points of Welsh interest in France that you know of? |

Mametz woods memorial, N E of Amiens, visited there on the way back from Andorra at the start of the Euro campaign on what was an epic road trip! Very humbling experience visiting the whole area.

It seems like the Russian applications have also oversubscribed: "A total of 68,064 applications were registered on the [UEFA] web portal for the matches of the Russian national team, including 56,591 applications for the group stage matches" the RFU added. I am only really optimistic about getting a ticket for the Slovakia game... |

The Slovakia FA web site is not very informative - www.futbalsfz.sk/en But seeing that we got 2000 extra tickets to the match in Bordeaux, I can only imagine that Slovakia applied for 5000? If we get an extra 500 tickets for R16 - that would be fantastic! |
