Was feeling fairly confident, having been a gold member last 3 campaigns, and got tickets for Scotland away and Belgium away. Been to every home game too, just didn't get a tournament ticket. Feeling incredibly hard done by

Did you go for cat 4 tickets?
I had a membership this time round but only had 3 home games and one away on it and I was successful for Slovakia. Went for cat 3 but got upgraded to cat 2. Think it was a case of working the number unfortunately!

I went to every home game (no TT) as well as Netherlands, Belgium and Cyprus away. Applied for FYT up to the semis with the option of being pushed into a more expensive category and got nothing. It seems the FAW moved the goalposts at the last minute. Home games count for nothing unless you had a TT. I really thought such incompetence was a thing of the past. I'm absolutely livid.

I put 3 applications in. One for myself, got cat 4 all the way through. Another for my son and another for my mate. They pretty much got what they wanted apart from the fact they both got bumped up for the Russian game. I wonder if the limited capacity in Toulouse has caught a number of those applying for follow your team tickets.

I applied for individual tickets, mostly Cat A to give myself the highest chance. I'll still be out there supporting the boys (Campervan already booked and paid for) but I'm just gutted I won't be getting in the stadiums

hopefully, once the general sale portal e-mails go out, there will be plenty of tickets flying around - lots of people have applied through both so only need to be successful from one

Seen it mentioned that uefa have a system in place that nullifies and weeds out applications that try to obtain tickets from both "sales" ( membership and general) general sale applications to be announced "end of Feb"

that doesn't apply to everyone though - i applied through the welsh portal for 2 tickets which i got and my mate applied for 2 on the public one cos he didn't have enough points. I got mine, so if he is successful too, he will be looking to sell

Maybe, if true about Uefa and their system these are the ones who've been unsuccessful. Maybe someone on here can clear this up. Someone who applied both ways.

Guys, I feel for you all. If my two brothers get their applications on public portal (3 each) I will surely be putting them up for sale here at face value. There is always the exchange portal in March/April, so get in there quick!

Im so confused Me, my dad, brother and mum all applied for the same tickets. We should all have the same points except my mum who has only been a member for the 2 campaigns. whereas the rest of us have been to every home game over the last 3 campaigns and 2 aways in that time frame.
my dad and brother both got tickets for england and russia, missing out of slovakia( which is one game we really wanted). However I haven't got anything through my account.
my mum has been successful for a pair of tickets to england.
can anyone explain why I've been shafted through my account?
Im lucky at least I will be going to a game at least but i'm dissapointed that after 14-15 years only missing 2 home games and being a member for years and years i didn't get anything.

all of us should complian to faw that home games didnt count i went to nearly all home games , jsut could not afford bulk buy a tournament ticket, ok so home games points we were told counted golposts moved . plus public portal blocked me why cant we just allow both applications or if not sucessful first dibs on public portal , surely ly members who miss out should get priority over joe public wales fans who never go to home games !.public portal leftovers should go to members.

Went to all home games!!! Mid week games traveled down from Bangor. Went to 3 away games (Israel, Belgium and Cyprus) and not a single ticket. I really do feel for fans who has been going for years and didn't have nothing. I only had 15 points so it was 50/50 for me but fans with over 20 points how the hell you got no tickets? I'm devastated but on the bright side I can spend money for the tickets on beer when I'm in France.
Congratulations everyone who had them hope you'll enjoy the experience

There's no chance UEFA will allow the FAW to interfere and re allocate tickets. I know that's not what everyone wants to hear but they've already taken money out of peoples accounts, it opens up a huge can of worms. It's a learning curve and the main lesson is the bigger the high roller you are the more chance you have of securing tickets, the rich are always at an advantage with stuff like this! Luckily I got what I wanted but hopefully the next time we qualify i'll be in a much better financial position and be able to go category one.

Absolutely devastated. I thought I did more than enough to at least get 1 ticket. Looking at Facebook there is a guy who I know didn't even go to a qualifying match and he still ended up getting 2 tickets ahead of me. Fucking ridiculous, and I reckon UEFA have made a massive fuck up.

I hope you manage to nab some tickets in the resale mate.

Two mates are going to be on the lookout for tickets.

For those reading this who were unlucky, the touts are out in force already. Strike now and you will get a ticket, you will have to pay through the teeth though. I saw a comment that someone only bought tickets to sell, absurd.

In their membership Terms and Conditions, In order to have a ticket the FAW said that you had to have membership and build up points. Many people bought membership for that purpose. By changing the rules and giving tickets to all those +1s who had no membership and no points the FAW have therefore broken their own terms and conditions of Contract.
If I was a member, which unfortunately I am not, and had missed out on tickets, I would be looking to take legal action against the FAW for breach of Contract, (The contract they entered into when they sold you the membership). Maybe there is someone that would take action against the FAW on behalf of the unsuccessful members.
An alternative is to report the FAW to Trading Standards via Consumer Direct for having Terms and Conditions of purchase which they have not adhered to. That is against the law.
