Public Portal is now turning into a farce I'm afraid. I'm sorry but UEFA are delaying the Public Portal because they are pandering to the football associations who want more tickets for these so called hard luck fans who fucked up on their choice of catergory. They got it wrong and now there will be less tickets for us on the Public Portal!!! There should have been more tickets for the associations from the start. After all there would be no tournament without the teams to compete in it! Do you think 16% per association was fair?

I always wonder how many tickets UEFA keep back for themselves and sponsors etc.
Take Lens for an example based on 36,000 capacity 16% to Wales & England = 12,000 Lets Say 25% to the General Public Portal = 9,000 Therefore total to 'Fans' is 21,000
So in my estimations UEFA would have approx 15,000 tickets for the England game.
Time for you all to shoot me down ;o)

Also, I wonder if the Tickets 'Swop Shop' will be delayed too?
All these delays are perfect for the touts as fans without tickets will start panicing the longer it drags on.

16% might not be fair but the rule book is being changed now. UEFA could have had this wrapped up by now but its pretty bloody obvious that the pool of PP tickets is going to be less and less has each day passes. Anybody that didn´t choose the most expensive category in the PP is going to be doomed!!!!

As long as the extra tickets aren't for teams in our group I don't care how many extra tickets they get. I do agree that it is taking the mick how long they're taking to push a button though.

I admit that this is open to abuse but here's the breakdown of tickets: www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/competitions/General/02/24/61/39/2246139_DOWNLOAD.pdf

As long as it's not Russia nor Slovakia, does it matter? Totally agree with you on that. Good luck to the Irish and Belgians, I say. Between them there will not be a neutral spectator in the stadium... As for the general ballot ... sadly, FIFA are having their big get together looking for their next chief ... So surely the UEFA offices are far too busy for next two days ... Maybe on Monday ... In the meantime, I say vote for Smithy ;-)

#JustNeedEightEnglandTickets Hey bluetone, I am wearing my lucky draws until UEFA do their draw... but just in case they let me down... I hope you end up with 12 tickets ;-) If that is the case, would you spare one of them for little me ;-)

I hope you end up with 12 tickets ;-) If that is the case, would you spare one of them for little me ;-) We all have our tickets for the group games except England and I have 5 applications in the Public Portal for each game x 2 tickets in Cat 1. I could end up with 10 spares for Slovakia & Russia. If I do get them I'll use them for swops for England tickets or sell them on here for face value.

If I do get more tickets than I need from the Public Portal at least they'll go to a good home...at Face Valve. Better than the touts getting them IMO

As I have all but the England match ticket already, if either of my brothers gets 3 tix for Slovakia or Russia games my one will be offer here and at face value. If a miracle happens and we get 6 for the England game ... well ... we live in hope ...
quite frankly, I'll be happy enough with a single ticket for the Slovakia v Russia game ... I have 4 days to kill in Lille ...

Unfortunately that's wrong, according to the uefa website. There were 42% of total tickets available to the general public, totalling around 1million. There was a total of 1million tickets due to be released in the original sale back last June. Anything that is being released during the current portal will be whats left from the original sale of tickets (which explains only the higher priced tickets being available). I presume it will also include small batches of tickets not sold by the nations and some additional tickets held back. The General Sale tickets weren't even due to go on sale again after the initial release last year, until the portal opened next month. Can only presume UEFA used it as a safety net in case nations couldnt sell their quota. I really do think that the tickets available will be minimal in this phase.

Here's the breakdown released by UEFA.
42% General Sale, 32% Nations, 12% Commercial, 6% Hospitality, 3% Football Family, 2% Host Cities/Authorities, 1% Charity, 1% VIP, 1% Broadcast Partners.

Are you interested?

Much appreciated, that is very kind of you ;-) Certainly interested in one ticket - but give me a few days as I asked one of my brother's to apply for 1 ticket for it on general portal. It did state "good chances", but it is a nice relief knowing that now I have a fall back. Who knows, by next week I might be able to offer you a straight swap, an England ticket for a Slovakia v Russia one ;-)

It looks like only one game though!!! I applied for 3 tickets for each group game and I had a phone call from my bank asking if the credit card transaction from UEFA is good(that's how all banks should do it) and I of course said yes!!! And then I asked them what the total UEFA asked for and its the same as the Slovakia or Russia game and not the cheaper England tickets. I applied for Catergory 1 in all and it hasn't shown on Internet banking yet so my message is to fans to be patient or phone your banks.

Applied for other matches too though (some non-Wales). Anyone know if they are taking money in batches - or if you've had one deduction then that's like to be your lot?.

I applied for 10 x Cat 1 tickets for the Slovakia game and Russia at €145 each and 10 x Cat 1 England tickets at €110 I have Pending Transactions of £1208. The applications were by 5 different persons applying for 2 tickets per game. It's either 10 x Slovakia or 10 x Russia I reckon. If that's the case I have a lot of spares.
Hopefully they are doing the draws match by match and then applying for the money in the same manner.
