I'm doing the same- back on the Sunday though. There are worse airports to spend 4hrs in than Schippol, loads of eateries and a few bars If you are booking a lounge the large KLM one is brilliant (only been in there once whilst on expenses mind so I don't know how much they charge!)

At Schippol, there is totally no need for a lounge. Honestly! They have hammocks, beanbags, gorgeously comffy sofas and massage-style armchairs everywhere. Their Fish and Chips is actually very good value at €7.50

Anyone else going Bristol>Amsterdam>Bordeaux on the 11th or am I being really mental? the more I look at my bookings the more I'm thinking a lot could go tits up and I'll miss a piece of history. I'm also going on the Saturday morning but on reflection should have gone on the Friday. I'm on the 6.18am train out of St Pancras but I've got a bit over 2 hours in Paris so that connection should be ok even allowing for increased security. We've got our village ball on the Friday and I've always wanted to go to that looking forward to going to following wales off to some finals. 2 years ago we had some friends on out table who were off to Brazil the day after, I cant describe our envious I was. This year its my chance and I've invested in Welsh dickie for the occasion. Taxi booked to take me to St Pancras at 4.45. The problem is I'm normally arseholed until half way through the next day. There's a good chance I'll wake up about 11 back in St Pancras.

As you, nothing to worry about. But I might give my more sensible mate the tickets who's going on the Thursday and if it goes tits up, it's SELL, SELL SELL!

I have a 17 seater bus to consider what to do with once I get to Bordeaux and the same goes for Toulouse.

I know it's been covered before but will the stewards be bothered about the name on the tickets?
