Think Cole got discussed in one of the U17 match threads possibly. I've been impressed in the five or so games I've seen him play. Has a good link up with Matondo (on the left wing) for the youth team.

I was looking at his twitter he's very involved with Wales re-tweeting team mates and saying "cmon Wales"etc but I wonder what's going on with his twin is he not good enough or does he have interest. But anyway glad to hear this guys looking impressive on the field

Not sure about the two brothers. I guess time will tell where their allegiances lie and how good they turn out to be. This summer's antics will certainly have made us a far more appealing option to out for. I think they grew up in Luton or somewhere around there and qualify through a parent.
The Wales camp seem to be pretty good the past few years at instilling a sense of pride. Something that hasn't always been there. I can notice a difference with the way in which some of our ex pros talk about the national team that their not really that bothered. (Though I don't want to name names)

Yeah, they were at Luton, where dad Jon was involved in the youth setup and the three of them were sold as a joblot to Chelsea in a deal that with add-ons could be worth up to £1m. Not crazy until you find out that I think the oldest of the three was 13/14 at the time! Jon is now Head of Youth at Brentford I think.

Oh yeah I also find it nuts that none of them are relate to Thomas gregg lopes dasilva who also qualified for Wales and played in Wales training camps. This isn't the surname Evans or Jones there's 4 Dasilva's eligible for Wales www.transfermarkt.com/tom-da-silva/profil/spieler/352821

Jay Dasilva has won player of the year at Charlton. On Jay Dasilva's wiki page is says he's eligible for Wales. I don't remember it saying that before. I don't think the forum ever got the reason why Cole was eligible for us but not Jay. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Dasilva I've just been having a look at English left backs who are 24 and under. There are a hell of a lot of young left backs who have garnered a lot of hype and promise. I wonder if we may be making another approach for Jay after his youth international days are over?.... Meanwhile, I think Cole's contract is up at Chelsea. Hopefully he gets a renewal there.

Yeah, their dad was one of our academy coaches at one point, then he went off to, I believe Brentford (no idea where he is now) and we sold the three off them to Chelsea as a job-lot.

Jay is in England's Toulon squad www.thefa.com/news/2018/may/18/england-u21s-squad-named-for-toulon-180518Younger brother Cole (our player) has just turned 19. He's played a fair few times for Chelsea's DVP team this season but his contract is up now. It will be telling what happens with him over the next couple of months. His twin Rio was released by Chelsea a while ago I think.

Cole has been released from Chelsea. Thought that was coming. Could be good for him. Find a club that has a long term interest in him. Being a youth player at Chelsea must be a nightmare.

Does cymruramdcfc approve? Why not go for Cole who is a free agent, or Isaac Christie-Davies? What is word on the street re: Ledley?

Great news, high hopes for him in the Welsh set up but it was yet another Young Chelsea outcast.....I really do wonder why they bother with their academy at all! Anyway Brentford seems like a good nurturing environment for the youngsters...good luck CDS

Anyway Brentford seems like a good nurturing environment for the youngsters...good luck CDS Their youth policy makes them millions. They make a small profit on all these youngsters. I don’t think there’s any interest in bringing players through to the first team, they’re just cashing in on them when they can.

Exactly that, its what allows them to exist under FFP, as Abrahmovic doesn't pump money in either anymore, they are self-sufficient.

I see Jays move became permanent but then he got injured for months after 1 game. I wonder if in the future (after Euros) if he will be second choice behind Ben Davies

Doesn't seem interested in playing for Cymru. Only represented England at any level. Not sure I'd want him.

With the amount of competition England will have at full back, it'll be interesting to see if he changes his mind in a few years and the reaction he gets if he does.
