I wonder if they had cameras/programme following this campaign? Problem is the rights to all these internationals are owned by sky now, it was all free-to-air in 2004. |

Is it too much to ask for someone to record this and upload to youtube?
As someone who went to Moscow it would be cool to get some new perspextives on that trip more than 10 years on.
Christ that makes me feel old :/

Just watched it, felt sorry for myself all over again!
Throughout that I felt like I just wanted to tell them "Gareth Bale...remember the name!"
One thing that struck me though watching that, just how fragile and flimsy that campaign was. We burst to the top of the group thanks to the element of surprise more than any skill we possessed or displayed, when we were found out our collapse was simply spectacular. Was interesting to note some of the lads calling it right midway through the group as well, and that we weren't good enough to make it through the playoffs.

Also the play-off draw could have gone much better for us, we could have had Latvia, Slovenia, Scotland, Norway or Turkey. Serbia-Montengro were in terrible form though, having lost to Azerbaijan and been thrashed 3-0 by Finland, so I think the optimism was justified. I think if we'd played Serbia in April when we were orginially scheduled to play them we would have got a result. |

An excellent alternative if Robbie Savage is on the English alternative I noticed on twitter that the HD story was announced on the S4C twitter account with the lead picture of the S4C Chief Executive with Jonathan Ford. S4C are really embracing the Euros, as are BBC Wales. When both do commission football stuff, the standard is always very high! |

About xxxxing time! It annoys me no end that I've often ended up watching the rugby on the BBC when I'd rather listen to the S4C commentary, because I can't abide watching sport in SD when HD is available. The same applies, only more so, to footy.
I look forward with great relish to Malcolm Allen's sgorgasmic goal celebrations...

Brilliant game-just reminded me how good the front 4 of Hartson,Giggs ,Davies & Bellamy were.All 4 would get into today's side easily but with Giggs CM to facilitate Bale.Apart from Hennessey,Ash & Ramsey the 2002 side were better man to man. |

When i watched this game recently i was shockec how shit alot of our play was, take out the goals amd fookin shit. Made me realise how far we have come. Perhaps i would have said the same of the many games i ve watched since 1978
