Mason out! Rodon not in the squad means he doesn’t rate our Joe

Total joke that Dier keeps getting picked. He is as his name suggests totally dire! Rodon did not deserve to be sidelined like this by Mason

Why is Rodon not even getting on the bench for Spurs. He's always looked pretty reasonable to me and to be honest none of the current spurs backline are pulling up trees at the moment.

because Mason is a rubbish coach!
Dier is dire. He makes a mistake in most of their games that leads to a goal. How on earth he keeps getting picked I have no idea.
Rodon arguably deserves to be in the team more than Bale. At least he is avoided injury ahead of the Euros!

What frustrates me the most is the fact he isn't in the SQUAD - starting XI is ultimately down to opinion where Rodon is concerned, i personally think he merits a starting place but there is others of similar quality (probably) in his position competing with him....however, not bring in the squad i think is a joke.

He's not as good as some like to think.
Better hope the new ma ager rates him or a loan spell may be on the cards

Bloody hell, Rodon makes the bench today. What’s he done to deserve this honour?

Thanks goodness Mason is gone after today!
His treatment of Rodon is bizarre,
I bet he brings on his clumsy mate Dier before Rodon today, whatever the circumstance.
Glad Bale is not starting!

Joe Rodon confirmed there is no reason he can't be playing for a top 4 Premier League team in the next 2 years.
He has it all but also has great heart and a warrior spirit!
I loved that he had no interest in suffering the defeat and looked totally pi@@ed off! That's the attitude!

Brilliant, defensive display.
Don't agree that he has it all though. I used to see him as a great ball-playing cb, but in all his recent performances for Wales and spurs he's been very conservative on the ball, and when he has been more ambitious he usually gets it wrong I think his long-range passing is a bit of a weakness - he tried it a couple of times against turkey and got them wrong.

He seems to be growing in stature and confidence with every match. There was a moment when the ref pulled him over to tell him to calm down with the tackles, and after listening to him, Joe just shook his head and waved the ref away.
He is going to be a regular feature of this team for the next decade!

How good was our Joe today? Him and Ward are neck and neck for our player of the tournament so far. Both have shown themselves in a really positive light.

Concerned about his likely playing time this season with the 40m+ arrival of the new CB who was voted the best defender in seria a last season. To be honest, he's not quite at the level I thought he was when he was at Swansea. Can't say I watched much of him at the swans, but he was getting rave reviews + he looked very good in his first few caps - both impressive on the ball and solid defensively. But for spurs and in his recent games for us, there's been way too many mistakes and he hasn't looked good on the ball. He's still our best cb by a long shot, but not of the top Premier league standard I thought he was. He's probably not good enough for spurs, I'd much rather see him as a first team regular at a mid table club

He needed another season at Swansea then a move to a premier league team where he’d be a regular from the beginning. Unfortunately Swansea needed the cash. Same with Dan James. They’re Premier League quality but would’ve been better off at a Leeds or Villa type club.

Oh dear, he doesn't even make the bench. So looks like he's behind Romero, Sanchez, Dier and probably Tanganga. That could severely affect his development. Hopefully I'm not being too reactionary, but I think he needs to get out asap

Quite the turnaround here in attitudes. He was always bought as one for the future, or at very least a player Spurs could turn a profit on.
Still amazed there are people here who thought Joe would be first choice centre back by now, because Sanchez, Dier, Vertonghen etc. are all donkeys. I'd love to try whatever they were smoking.

Are people real?
Joe Rodon is talented and very rounded in most if not all attributes needed to do well as a centre back.
Dier is dire. He is like a baby elephant when moving and drops a clanger almost every match.
I really do not see why Dier is anywhere near the Spurs squad and why Rodon is not in it. The defence is always Spurs' big weakness
I hope Rodon move on. @@@@ this - this is Spurs not Man City. Complete joke.
