[ Declan Rice was supposedly also involved in this altercation. I take back what I said yesterday. I’d take four Nations league defeats if it meant O’Neill and Keane walked.

Funny to see Arter trying to take Ramsey down, only to hurt himself in the process.

Neil Warnock continues to do wonders for Welsh football. Jazz Richards is dropped altogether now with no Welshman close to the team. He is, however, giving Harry Arter a good chance to get nice and fit for our game with the Irish, and he promises to 'rough up' Ramsey for good measure. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45386028I argued this on Twitter a few weeks ago, but for everyone that talks about "how great it is for Welsh Football" to have Cardiff/Swansea in the EPL, I think it probably harms the prospects of any youngsters if anything. Swansea have a strong contingent of Welsh players now, but I'll argue that's only because they've been relegated thus a necessity to turn to youth due to financial issues. A Premier League club will almost always spend its way out of trouble these days. David Brooks only got his chance because he shined at a Championship club and I seriously doubt he'd have seen anywhere near as much action last season had he come through the system of a bigger club. So yeah, I can't see Wales benefitting at all from Cardiff being in the PL. Warnock isn't going to give a toss about the nationality of his players is he? That's a fair argument. The counter-argument would be that Swansea only managed to invest in their youth system through Premier League revenue. This enabled them to get the academy up to Category 1 status which means they have great facilities and get to play against the best youth teams in England. It's unlikely that Roberts, Rodon, James etc. would have developed to the same extent without those opportunities.

The lack of Welsh players in the squad does concern me greatly. When i mention it to close friends who are also Cardiff fans, their sole priority is staying up at all costs which I get but my priority is and always has been the national team. I also understand that if they are not good enough they should not get a token pass into the squad on account of being Welsh/ youth product.

Sean Morrison in talks to represent Ireland, although born in Plymouth. Think he has Irish Grandparents?

Bet he can't wait to get one over on his teammates.
Maybe they will draw Scotland or Iceland in the euros 😂

Bale will be losing sleep, having to face him in Dublin Harsh and ignorant in equal measures. He marshals a defence whose record currently is only bettered by 6 prem teams despite playing behind a team of significantly lower ability with frightening possession stats. Last season he marshalled defence tighter than that of Villa containing Chester and Taylor, tighter than that of Williams's Everton and even tighter that that of Tottenham in goals per game. No mean feat when we concede possession like we do. To be honest I'm where Morrison is ability wise but his record is pretty good. But you missed the real point of AE's comment. It wasn't his defence but the attacking presence he brings.

Cardiff have played one decent premier team so far and conceded 3.
If we are worried about a 27 yr old with half a dozen premiership games to his name then we should give up.
If he was that good he would of played at a higher level before now or been called up before now.

Maybe we should call up our Morison.

And you think Bale should be shitting himself. Maybe we should call up our Morison. What on earth are you talking about? He's a threat on set pieces (attacking) which is undeniable. I know you immediately jump on anything Cardiff but this ^^^ doesn't make any sense. He has scored /set up several goals from corners and free kicks so would be considered a potential danger yes.

What are you on about.
I will be delighted if Ireland plays a 27 year old journeyman making his international debut.
A threat at set pieces isn't enough at international level like it is for A Warnock team

Your hatred for Cardiff is shining through stronger than ever before.

Seriously, why do you hate Cardiff so much?

Why are people so defensive about their clubs all of a sudden? I agree that he isn't someone we need to be worrying about, for me he's no better than Duffy and Clark who are both experienced premier league centre backs and started the last game against us.

We're defensive when someone's constantly attacking them? I don't care about club rivalry much even when talking about club football (Wales comes first for me), but especially not on a Wales forum. At first I thought welshiron was just in it for the wind up, but sending two separate messages hours apart attacking a Cardiff player suggests he's not doing it for banter, but because he loves casting out a rod hoping someone will take the bait.

They were very good against Arsenal and could easily have won that match. I also saw their full match v Bournemouth and they were quite decent there as well.

2 points from 5 games shows that they will struggle to get 30 points. Set pieces seem to be their only real threat. Hopefully they can stay in touch until January and then have a reveal go in the transfer market.

I am far from being a City fan, but simply took exception to barry claim of "Bringing nothing to the league, again." From my seat in the Ninian it looked like they were playing offensive / attacking football. Must have had at least a dozen shots on target. I thought that the match v Arsenal will be the only one that I will see, but - on the back of such decent football - I actually bought myself a Flexi-5 membership. So looking forward to seeing them v Man City next week, now ;-)
By the way, Season tickets at £350 are an absolute bargain and I also thought that Flexi-5 (5 tickets of your choice) at £120 was great value to.
