nsiala has played at under 19 i think.
mate there is dave jones and shawcross (yawn) also sanchez watt is still eligible. aryn williams burnley
michael flynn has never had an appearance at any level
zavon hines was born jamaica and leroy lita congo but i have no idea anymore if this means they are eligible or not because one minute under 21 appearances for countries count the next they dont. andrew surman was born south affrica/--- also danny webber comes under this no one knows if under 21 appearances mean anything cause if they did there would be no debate about collison. but then again there was an article talking about george higgins that said as soon as he gets an under21 cap for us spain cant have him!
theres a lad at southapmton (or was last season at least) from jersey so he would deffo be eligible and tony pulis son - anthony who is at soton aswell.

yeah,i think u21s dont count as kevin prince boatang switched from germany to ghana just before the world cup. hasnt anthony pulis played u21s yet? i know he's been named in a few squads. i presume theres a few more that we dont know about, hal robson kanu seemed to appear from nowhere but flynn said he'd been chasing him for a few years.

If we're talking about at any level, then there's a few uncapped Welsh players in the WPL... OK, laugh away, but it might not be quite so funny if TNS manage to beat Anderlecht or Bangor Maritimo...

Lest we forget the legend that is Steve Evans is a TNS player who got picked as soon as he went to Wrexham.....then dropped when he went back to TNS.

There's someone called Williams who's just signed for Reading. Wonder if Flynnie has been on to him yet?! (like he did with Ashley)

Both appear to be garbage but I'll take the bait anyway... There's nothing about Okuonghae that suggests he isn'teligible. Mkandawire is tied to England because of his mam. But it's only a gentleman's agreement so unless England have their eyes on him in their Brave New Post-World Cup World ( ) we could nab him...but in truth...I couldn't care less....why have an international team or why even be bothered to have a distinct Welsh identity when basically anyone can play for us? yo im not saying they should be in a wales squad im just wondering if they are eligible. the second guy is eligible then because earnshaw had an english dad but he plays for us. but still not saying they should be im trying to understand the rules.
some say under 21 appearances dont matter but then some do because western mail said if george higgins was capped at under 21 spain couldnt have him. if true there would be no debate about collison danny webber ben turner etc.

yes, but earnshaw lived in Wales his whole life pretty much.
also, i have yet to read any concrete evidence that his dad is english.

If one or other is from England he can't play for us, and is tied to them. Young was born in Singapore to parents from the Caribbean (though I can't be more specific where) And Hargreaves was born in Canada, not Germany

I guess Frimpong is as qualified for us as he is England. Should Flynn try and cap him though? imo- NO. On this subject, did anyone see that Kevin Davies of Bolton had been called by the SFA to ask if he had Scottish blood and if he'd be interested in playing for Scotland? How random is that?! He said he didn't know (which I find strange- surely most people know or can easily find out where their grandparents were born?) but he thought with the name Davies he'd be more likely to qualify for Wales... He also said he'd always considered himself English so wasn't interested anyway, which is fair enough. Plus, he's 33 and I don't think we should be asking people that age if they'd be interested in representing us when it'll block the path of promising youngsters.

i presume there must have been some reason for them to ask him if he had scottish blood in him.they surely dont randomly ask players that they fancy if they qualify for scotland, the words 'long' and 'shot' spring to mind.

It might be a call centre which has a list of every footballers phone numbers and it calls them in order. Not every nation can have it's very own Flynn.
