Guess the Danish Football players are all happy them...................... oh wait they complaining and not playing You said 'everyone' oscar By that surely you meant everyone in football EXCEPT the danish Of course they arent happy And btw mon is the only one in football ive seen have a moan about this farce Well of course MON is going to moan about it. Why would anyone else moan about it? It's not affecting any other countries. Yous are looking at essentially a walkover on Sunday yet we will have to more than likely play a full strength Danish team. You actually think that's fair?

In reality it’s nothing more than a huge slice of luck for us, heaven knows we’re owed some.

Convince Denmarks' superstars to return for the match on Sunday? I'm not going to feel sorry for the Irish as I'm sure you wouldn't in the same position. It's not our problem that the Danish FA and the players have fallen out. Our collective conscience is clear on this.

I know let's postpone the game and let all the travelling fans down. Then we can play them when we don't have a full squad (Not that we will after playing the Irish cloggers).
That's sounds fairer, let's make sure the poor old Irish are ok

Some of them were ribbing us for ages after they knocked us out and I was absolutely distraught even before I read all the gloating on here. Now they want sympathy off us because we might end up playing a Danish C side. Bollocks I don't feel bad one bit we haven't done anything wrong.

But if it comes down to goal difference and we get relegated instead of you guys that's pretty serious don't you think? Also the Ranking for our coefficient for both the euros and World Cup would be affected. And all of this in a league that consists of 3 teams? I can't see UEFA standing by and just letting that happen.

On the other hand we are at a massive disadvantage having to prepare to play against 2 separate teams.
For all we know the Danes could have been preparing for the game all along and all their players are fresh whilst we will take a physical battering from the Irish.
Is that fair?

Or maybe we should of got our playets to go on strike to het the ireland game last year postponed. Then played you with Bale.
I'm sure you think that would be fair to the other teams in the group

In my mind, I keep thinking this will be resolved before the game and we’ll face the full Danish side

If I were you guys I'd be in the same boat and would be like yes, thanks very much for the 3 points.
But just take your fan hat off for a moment. This is the inaugural UEFA Nations League. They're shiny new trophy.
I do feel that something will be sorted out in the next 24 hours. I have a feeling that UEFA will come down hard on the Danish FA with possible ramifications otherwise.
I do think if it goes ahead there will probably be massive protests from the Irish FA, possibly resulting in Denmark being thrown out of Nations league with all points voided.
Once again taking off the fan hat, UEFA have too much at stake to just shrug their shoulders and go "shit happens".

I feel sure that Wales being Wales that come the final table (if the Danish do play this third string and we finish top) UEFA will step in and find some clause to shaft us.

From What your saying Denmark should complain about Ireland playing a weakened team tonight Denmark will play the best side they have available as will Ireland tonight. Who these players are makes no difference

If you can't remove your biased Welsh hat for 2 minutes, then obviously you're not interested in seeing the bigger picture. a.) Denmark will field a full squad on Sunday. b.) UEFA will step in before or after to "deal" with it. You won't be just handed 3 points for playing a mickey mouse team. As I said before, far too much at stake for UEFA to twiddle their thumbs.

And what about if they play their full side, switching squads 24 hrs before the game. Is that fair? You should be preparing, as if you were playing the full Danish team. If your staff have their heads screwed on, they will have made the players aware that this situation is fluid, and not to rest on their laurels, as there is every chance you'll be up against Eriksen and Co. come Sunday.

That's bollox. We will have to prepare to play 2 different teams. Completely different gameplan depending on which team they play. If you can't see that I despair.

If you prepare under the assumption that your playing a full Danish side, I'm pretty sure with the same game plan you'll beat a bunch of futsal players, especially with one the best attacking players in world football currently in your team.

If we play Denmark reserves then they should be relegated and the 2 games Wales v Ireland should be for 1st and 2nd.

Pretty stunned to see anyone even floating the idea that the Danish situation is something to argue over. Surely it's just the Danes that should be punished? I don't think anyone is suggesting Wales get punished for the Danish situation like. MON wasn't suggesting that either, he just said something about UEFA stepping in - I'd imagine either by a points deduction for Denmark or throwing them out.
We'll still find a way to be relegated regardless.

And what about if they play their full side, switching squads 24 hrs before the game. Is that fair? You shouldn't need to prepare to face Denmarks F team. If you train to face Eriksen and Co, and then the futsal players show up, then you will still win. If you prepare to face the futsal players and then Eriksen shows up, then that's just bad management. Also bear in mind that the proper Denmark team may not have trained together this week and do not know if they will be playing. Their manager is also on holidays. Wales can't really have any complaints about this situation, all of the cards lay in your favour.

I don't see why anyone should be punished or why Wales will struggle. Giggs and Roberts won't fall for this shit.
Anyone could play this nonsense.
Bale is injured for tonight because his bun was too tight Hennessey will play in Bermuda shorts and flip flops Vokes is applying for xfactor so is out of tonight's match Ireland say they are going to play football tonight etc etc

Who these players are makes no difference There is something in the rules about teams being required to select their best players. While there's one or two players lucky to be in the squad, and some who are unlucky not to be in it, it's still the best squad available to us at this moment in time. Denmark's situation is the opposite, all of their players are fit and ready to play, but they have not been selected due to off the pitch issues.
