Jack has only turned 17 in March and with the Rovers back in the championship next season, it will be fascinating to see how long it will take young Jack to make it into the first team.
I saw him for the first time today v Slovakia in the Slovakia Cup and he had a real stand out performance. Fantastic bursts of skillful running down the left flank and a great amount of heart in his play. Showed great dogged determination and has a never-give-up attitude. Won our penalty after another great run and scored it well.
With a name like VALE and shirt number 11, he is certainly one to watch out for.

Always positive and attack minded. Displays obvious quality. Right footed but possibly a bit ambidextrous possibly also? Very comfortable going inside or outside which hopefully should make him an unpredictable player to stop. I do love the "11" Vale / Bale factor. It's like he got recycled in a football computer game algorithm.

Maybe he will get some game time in pre-season friendlies for Rovers.

www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/may/slovakia-cup-a-real-learning-experience/ Rovers starlet Jack Vale played his part in Wales’ first ever Slovakia Cup adventure earlier this month. Vale, who was a real shining light in Rovers Under-18s' FA Youth Cup journey this season, was part of the Welsh Under-19s side, who arrived in Slovakia and played four games in five days against the likes of the hosts, Azerbaijan, Hungary and Ukraine. Wales ended up finishing sixth - after losing the 5th/6th place play-off - in the eight-team tournament, with the hosts being the eventual winners. It was an up and down time for Wales, but Rovers man Vale was one of their scorers in the competition as he netted against Slovakia in the first game in Group A. And Vale admitted that the cup clashes were great experiences. “It was a real positive trip for me and one that I think was hugely beneficial to everyone who was involved. “Going away with my country is always a massive honour and it was great to score a goal in the tournament as well. “To be honest, I was expecting us to achieve better results, but I think it’ll be a real learning curve for us. Hopefully we’ll benefit from the experience and improve next time.”

Jack played 3X90' for our U19 v Holland, Slovenia and Spain last month.
He also played a full 90' last week for the Blackburn U23 v Spurs and scored one and had one assist (won 3-0).
Starting again tonight v Man City.
Great progress, as he only turned 18 last month ;-)

Congratulations to our VALE11 ;-) Makes his first squad inclusion today in the Rovers seniors.
If he comes on, he could square up to Ben Williams, who is having a decent run of games ;-)

Really good read that - I don't know much about him but he sounds very promising based on that write up. Is he a striker? As in an out and out no.9? Could be staking a claim for backup to Moore if he gets more time in the Championship with Blackburn

Scored and assisted for Blackburn U23s this evening. On top of that loaned out to Rochdale.

Great to see that he has already got his first 15' under his belt.
Good luck at Rochdale, Jack.

May I be the first to say it, if old Bale wants to retire early, WE HAVE A SUCCESSOR!

He's looked sharp fair play. Shame he didnt go out on loan this summer so he can play every week.

Great to see!
Hopefully, with Armstrong leaving Blackburn for Newcastle over the summer, Vale gets some opportunities in their first team this year.

Let’s get this hype train started: could he be the young striker we’ve been looking for?

No need to hype, if he's meant to reach that level, he will.

To be fair I remember reading that he was knocking on the door of the 1st team at Blackburn before he got that really bad injury. The manager at the time was hyping him up. Obviously has taken him a while to recover, but here's hoping he gets back into senior football at a decent level this year. Could easily end up being an asset for us - and he's actually just an out and out no.9 who loves scoring goals!

Looks a real prospect, another one who’s struggled to get senior appearances at club level. A bit like Joe Adams.
Fingers crossed he kicks on :-)

I was working but score a hat trick and you get noticed. I didn’t know the score in the U 21 and a Norwegian mate sent a WhatsApp ‘Who’s this Vale lad that scored a hat trick?’. Lets hope it’s the start of something special

Yet to make a start at club level and he's 20 years old, only 4 appearances off the bench (3 for Rochdale, 1 for Blackburn) which is a bit worrying as he needs to be playing football. Hopefully this hat-trick will get him noticed one way or another and it will lead to him getting on the pitch.

They didn't replace Adam Armstrong so fingers crossed

I watched the game and he was excellent yesterday, but his club career isn't anything to get excited about - he doesn't even have a particularly good scoring record at u23 level.
