I'm only speaking on my behalf, I would often get carried away but more I've followed Welsh football in detail I've learned to reign it all in a bit and see the bigger picture. One thing that does generally excite me, and it's not Jack Vale specifically, is I think a couple of years down the line we will hopefully reach a point where we will be getting more selection headaches, more lads playing at the highest level possible and good quality strength in depth throughout.
He could quite easily peter out and we never hear about him again but on the flipside after a couple of seasons we could have another player playing at a good level adding to that last of ones to keep an eye on which will always excite me.

That's true ,and if I had to list players I've championed and players who made it ,the made it list is obviously a lot shorter!One thing I like about the Wales fanbase ( on the whole)is the knowledge of our age group players,and the positivity we have about them. |

I get excited by players coming up & let's be honest. Whenever a youngster is getting minutes in the 2nd tier that's an indicator that they might be around the level for our first team, if not immediately in the near future. I have also never slagged off Page for his selections, his record speaks for itself. I also have called out "closed shop" allegations in the past. I think there is a middle ground there

started for Blackburn last night, played 80 mins and got an assist.
it was actually nice to not to see welsh players in league cup action for once. means they are rested and considered starters (thinking Moore, Mepham, Johnson and Neco etc)

Great stuff! His first senior goal in a competitive game I believe? Had a good preseason and jon dahl tomasson seems to be a big fan! One of our top forward prospects

Great running off the ball and a couple of decent crosses. I thought that he lost the ball a few too many times under pressure - at an international level, that could be very decisiv.
Rotherham sure do score outrageous goals! 4 stunning goals.
