looking forward to this, haven't been to Ireland in years, although I live only 15 miles from Jollyhead port.My main concern and worry is the weather, I'm on the Stena ferry @ 2pm due to personal commitments, gets in to Dublin @ 5.15pm !!! It got delayed an hour today due to adverse weather, looked at the forecast for Tuesday, looks less windy but could still gust at 40mph + !!!

Today I found out Ireland use the same plugs as we do. Very unexpected.

Do people planning a pub crawl have a route drafted up yet? The stadium's a bit out from the city centre, so seems like a natural thing to do!

I heard the western part of the UK was having storms?
Hope it does not affect everyone's travel plans.

Best idea is to start somewhere central and head towards the ground stopping off wherever possible. Would welcome tips as and when. Odd staying in on a Friday and Saturday but I haven’t the stamina for consecutive nights out drinking anymore. Monday and Tuesday becomes my weekend.

What's everyone's plans on Friday night. Hoping to get in just in time to do the 5pm Guinness tour but nothing beyond that.
EDIT: MONDAY

Friday? I fly tomorrow and return Wednesday.
A half decent pub showing football will do for me on the Monday. Let’s have an Apostle meet if people have no plans.
Can update as and when.

Remember that our lovely hosts at the Aviva are providing us with ZERO protection from the rain / wind and it really can get bitterly cold :+) Rain coats, thermals and binoculars are highly recommend. Oh, and earplug protection from their dreaded PA system singalong :+)

The lovely driver on the Cardiff airport bus just waived me on and said it's free on Sundays :+) What a great way to start a trip. Reports from the field to follow...

You can pay on the bus, did it last time (That was the 747, pretty sure bus 16 is a local Dublin bus so you also pay on there but need the correct change)

The regular one, you can just pay the driver, or get a 10 euro leap card from the tourist information desk at the airport

I’m at London’s City Airport. Most flights seem to be delayed by fifteen minutes to half an hour. This is why I allow for time when I travel.

Me. CP in my right side so that hand will probably be pressed into my chest. 1957-58 shirt and my profile picture will probably help!
Any takeaways round there?

The Uber app is saying Temple bar to Bath Avenue (North entrance of Aviva Stadium) is 15 euro. It's about 2 euro on the bus - Best app for local buses is TFI It's about a 30 minutes walk from the liffey river area

No recollection of getting back in last night. I feel fine though.
Where’s everyone congregating today?
