At the start of the season I never thought they go down. I thought they’d be top 10. They played great football! Still a long way to go. What’s the odds they beat Arsenal in the penultimate game to escape the drop zone? Be good for us if they stay up so fingers crossed. Forest? They were dreadful at the start of the season I remember they got battered by man city , Leicester and Arsenal but in other fixtures they played good football and sometimes just the finishing let them down. I thought they’d improve on that and comfortably stay up.

There were lots of complaints from Swans fans about that even when they were getting results.

Yeah they looked doomed for the first third of the season until Cooper seemed to turn it around. Not looking good now

I thought they’d improve on that and comfortably stay up. They won 1 game in 12 and played some pretty basic stuff, they were clearly disjointed and suffered from so many new faces

I never really though Forest would amount to anything this season after their trigger happy spending last year. Far too many new players to integrate and a lot of shite at that.
They have a tough remaining fixture list and can't see them picking up more than 4/5 points.
I'm presuming Brennan will be snapped up by someone. The issue is Neco because he doesn't look settled in the side, and I don't see a PL side signing him. Aurier is a very good RB, so I don't think he'd be a starter at ch'ship level.

Aurier was a good right back, he's played plenty this season and Forest are still in the predicament they're in. Anyway, would he be bothered sticking round in the Championship? Surely from a money perspective it would make more sense to start Neco regardless as he'll only be 22 so has resale value and room to improve A season in the Championship wouldn't be horrendous for Neco if Forest go down, we know he can perform at that level and hopefully iron out some of the issues in his game over the long season

With regards to Neco, this is his first full season playing anything sort of regularly and he's doing it in the top flight in defence for a side that are struggling, I doubt there are many players in the World that would be having an immaculate first full season, all things considered.

Forest had a terrible start to season but had a purple patch mid season which seems to had got them enough points in the bank. Unfortunately for them they seem to have fallen off a cliff again. They look like one of 3 teams fighting it out to avoid the last spot going down.

Since those missed qualifiers, Forest have gone into freefall, 4 games, 1 draw, 3 defeats, 2 goals scored (1 by Brennan) 7 conceded, they're a powderpuff mess and it's certainly not helping Brennan who cuts a rather isolated and forlorn figure at the moment. Should have been in the squad.

My prediction is Kane leaves Spurs, they buy Toney & Brennan goes to Brentford.

I can only imagine he was on the bench because they were resting him for Wednesday and the following Saturday, two games that Forest have to get at least three points from if they have any chance of staying up. Again, post International break, Forest have really fell away, one point from fifteen.

Massive game for forest and johnson tonight, probably a season defining game, watched bit's of the liverpool game and thought they were ok and johnson looked sharp coming on late, but brighton are a good team this season.Interesting game.

I think Brennan will be playing in the Premier League next season regardless of what happens to Nottingham Forest. In fact Brighton would be a great fit for him.

Johnson shouldn't be the one stepping up in these pressure situations, it's an awful pen and it's not the first time he's fluffed his lines, it shouldn't happen.

he seems to young mentally to have saving forest on his shoulders, and they probably expect him too, needs to in a team with netter players to take the pressure off and he can grow without that.

Johnson took it, now he's just kicked Neco in the head and Neco is injured , not looking good for him, been laid out stretchers out for him.

Brennan is like most forward players they like having pressure and attention on them. Dont think its a case of having better players around him just look at Chelsea when you are on a bad run confidence goes. The win the other night and the desire shown by all the players to win could be a major changing point in Forest season. With that win under their belts it would not surprise me if Forest win at Brentford on Saturday and Brennan has a blinder.

Hopefully Brennan will become a better player from all of this but a penalty taker he almost certainly isn't, he's missed far too many this season. Before the Croatia game I had him in my first eleven, now he's an impact sub as since his omission both Wilson and James took their chances for country and club.

He was pretty clinical from the spot until this season.
Don't forget Rushy never ever took a penalty - so at least Johnson has the balls to step up
Can't believe the irony that it was one of our own giving Neco a serious injury - what would be the statistical odds of a Welsh player giving in Welsh team mate a serious injury in a Premier League match. I swear we are cursed with the things that happen to our promising players when young.

Only a broken jaw so he'll be back fairly soon, small crumb of comfort I know but it's better than damaged ankle ligaments or severe knee injury.

Come on mate, he's our best attacker. There's no reason to leave him out other than spite. He's a better player than those 2 and has had a better season despite being younger. We should be building around Johnson for years to come

Well in the grand scheme of things, in terms of career threatening and long lay off, a broken jaw isn't so bad compared to what I'd used as examples, ankle ligament injuries and severe knee injuries end a lot of careers, I have yet to hear of a footballer being out for a long period of time or having their career ended by a broken jaw. I also did say "small crumb of comfort", I'm well aware that a broken jaw is hardly ideal or nice for anyone.

Judging on how you are commenting, it seems as though you must have first hand experience of such injuries and the level of how serious they can be, unlucky for you!
