Brennan is another Anglo that has switched allegiances to us after 5 matches with the English U16. I only saw him once last year, but he looked good then and he has been getting rave reviews this Spring. Only played 8' in the league so far this season, but had 30' in the FA cup and got rave reviews there as well ;-)
Brilliant highlights here ;-)

Is there a law that requires every football highlights video to have god awful music?

The final goal on the video is for Wales against Poland last year.

His father is ex-Jamaican international David Johnson, anyone know how Brennan qualifies?

Hope he is more decisive than his Dad was.
That was a right mess with him deciding who to play for.

57 minutes on the clock tonight as Forest beat Derby. Some positive tweets been posted about him.
His first senior start for Forest also.

Who would you choose right now looking at the Welsh and English team? Don’t ask me, my name’s not ‘Gareth Southgate’

He has got more chance of winning say 30 caps for Wales in the next 6/7 years than winning perhaps 2 caps with England?

He has got more chance of winning say 30 caps for Wales in the next 6/7 years than winning perhaps 2 caps with England? He's 18 and won't give a flying about 30 caps for Wales. England only have to make some vague promises of conquering the world and he's gone for his single cap against Kazakhstan.

Exactly, and may look at the glut of youngster being capped by Southgate and think ‘that could be me’.

Well he was called up to England's Under 20 squad for this international break and never returned their call according to Dragon Soccer on Twitter, so maybe talk of him switching for a cap against Kazakhstan is premature...

Is it twenty years ago already? Judging by this campaign and how our players are failing to deliver for us at international level, yes.

I'm looking forward to seeing the u21s vs Germany tonight (it's live on sgorio's FB page + s4c clic).
Hopefully Johnson will be in action! I'm guessing the Germans will have the majority of possession, but it should be a good watch anyway.
With Matt Smith, Brennan Johnson, Joe Morrell, Josh Sheehan, perhaps our sudden lack of depth in CM isn't as dramatic as I first thought. They're all comfortable on the ball, tidy under pressure/in tight spaces, and like to play it on the floor.
League 1 and 2 will be a good learning curve for Morrell and Sheehan, less time and space to play football, so when they make the step up, they will have benefited from playing in the lower divisions.

Sheehan is still only 24. I'm surprised he ended up at Newport, not an obvious destination for a footballer.

Interview with BBC Sport Wales. "It's been really good. Wales have made me feel at home and I am loving playing for them. The Welsh link is all my mum's side of the family, who I have been really close with all my life. "I always see them - they always come round. They are all Wales fans and they have been telling me to play for Wales. "I am enjoying coming away with the under-21s and hopefully things can progress. Hopefully I can keep making them proud." www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50418037
