If we qualify I wonder if Brennan as a chance to make the squad Think we'd have to have a lot of attacking injuries for him to make it in, barring something extremely dramatic. He's a championship prospect up against top division players in his position(s). |

Started today against Chelsea in the cup, and played 81 mins.

Think today was his first start in the league - so congratulation! Forest really not doing much other than defending in first half. Seems to be playing in mid-field but seemed to have created the only Forest chance after 59' with a burst into the box and a sweeping cross that should have been tapped in. Two minutes later he was brought down blatantly in the centre circle, when he could have had a clear run on goal. Taken off shortly thereafter

Fantastic news! He seemed to be nowhere near the team before the season got delayed.
He has only just turned 19
Hopefully he sticks with us.
We are gonna get some serious fixture congestion both in terms of the league and international competitions so youngsters such as Brennan and Rabbi should get opportunities.
Does the Nations League count as competitive internationals in terms of qualifying players? If it does then you could see
Johnson and Levitt getting capped over the next 12 months. Will also likely see Cabango get a run out too. Exciting times!

and Neco will be given a chance in the Nations League also assuming he sticks with us of course! Isn't it wonderful? We have so many options now that I forget one or two players on a regular basis nowadays whether I discuss the first team, subs or youngsters that could challenge. Really hope we get to a World Cup over the next few years! We just need a Roy Keane, Graeme Souness, Paul Ince or Brian Robson type player to emerge now and we will have endless midfield options before from an attacking and defensive perspective  |

Brennan is not quite as involved in this game as in last week. Still. Had two nice through balls and one attempt at a pull back the hit the side netting.
Brennan looked a little light weight when tracking back (especially when defending corners) but Andy could have done much better in clearing the goal.

Quiet first 20 mins, then played some really neat stuff until the end of the half. Looks to have physically matured - last time I saw him he looked more like a boy. Now seems to fit in with the seniors a bit more

Johnson is tall! Obviously a tactical decision taking him off, and it's worked out perfectly for them with the early goal in the 2nd half. King's header comes off the crossbar, has he signed for Huddersfield permanently? I feel like it's a good club for him to be at, hopefully they avoid relegation. Huddersfield have a lovely away kit too! |
