Its great to see that both Brennan and Neco are fit enough to be starting another game in the space of 72 hours.

Gunter always speaks well. His dedication to making most of himself and intelligent communication style is a good sign. Him knowing the right thing to say isn't bad quality either.

I think Forest are on their way down It's a real scrap at the bottom, several teams have looked doomed/safe and then a few good/bad results and everything changes. Right now the only team I'd feel confident in saying they're on the way down is Southampton Leicester, Forest & Bournemouth on really bad runs, and Leeds, Everton & Wolves experiencing new manager bounces. Leicester could get someone in and have a bounce themselves, and you'd say Bournemouth/Forest/Saints will 100% stick with their current managers until relegation is confirmed/avoided I think Bournemouth are the next to go after Southampton, and then it's anyone's guess as to the final spot

I agree that Neco probably won't ever be an effective out and out right winger, but that doesn't mean he can't be moved forward at all. I think he could be a right-footed Brooks/Wilson-esque attacking midfielder who sometimes plays slightly wide and cuts in. They hardly have blistering pace either. I'd really like to see him tried out as a 10 or even an 8 in a friendly.

Forest are going down anyway so he will probably be with another better team next season that won't put so much pressure on him, can't se any premier teams buying Neco though tbh.

They're going to be a right mess next season, as well as their bloated squad they have about 12 first team players out on loan!

He's right, you have 12 players out on loan www.transfermarkt.co.uk/nottingham-forest/leihspieler/verein/703I can't be bothered to list them but they're all in there, click on that link for the magic. If this chocolate teapot isn't fixed soon it looks like Forest will be off to Hull and Rotherham next season and possibly Brennan will have that Olympiakos loan move that you've mentioned.

What i dispute is the term 1st team players most of the loans are players who have played less than 5 games for us and just checked your list which you have provided and it is incorrect as it does not mention some of most talented youngsters who are out on loan so he is not correct with the figure 12.

Haha, hey don't shoot the messenger, it's not my list, I'm just putting out there what is on a respected site So the figure is more than 12, that kind of adds more weight to the initial comment about the 12 loan claim. Either way it's a bit of an uphill struggle from hereon in for Forest, they've got some tough games and they've just lost another 6 pointer at the bottom end of the table. The absolute one thing they didn't need after all of this recruitment and the wages was relegation, which is why they obviously did all they can to stop Brennan joining up with Wales as take him out of the equation and the hope dwindles somewhat. A lot of money spent but most of the eggs nestling in the hair of Brennan Johnson it seems. I wouldn't mind seeing Forest stay up and I'd like Brennan to continue to be the idol of the fans but if they go down I don't think it would be too bad for either Brennan or Neco, the former would almost certainly head off and if Neco stayed he'd play every week, learning and developing. Villa away, Man Utd at home and the Liverpool away are the next three games, things could be looking very bleak after that, they wrapped Brennan in cotton wool for a week for this run in so let's hope he can do the business.

I watched the first half on and off last night and then most of the second half re-run this morning. Brennan was pretty anonymous considering he was up against one of the worst left backs in the division in Junior Firpo, although he was not in possession much. Cut a despondent figure and received a needless yellow for a petulant barge on Rocca. I can't remember any positive impact from him, unfortunately. Not one of his better games, hopefully, an improvement against Villa but another tough game ahead.

Johnson is not the full package yet, he has a lot to work on, not really a creative player and his work rate off the ball needs to improve, but his best is obviously in the final third where he can improve his weaker foot and heading ability imo. Not really comparing, however he does remind me of Heung Min Son at Spurs even though he obviously has to get to another level to be that good but you never know.

Nightmare for Forest, who have one point from a possible nine since the International break. Another 90 minutes, three in eight days, for the previously injured Johnson, he has scored one of their two goals since the break. Forest now in the relegation zone, Man Utd and Liverpool up next.

Can't see them surviving given their remaining fixtures
Johnson probably finds himself a lower half of the table Premiership team. Neco is probably Championship level at the moment tbh as he has not exactly done much for Forest in the Premiership has he?
Copper looks like he is on thin ice / only a matter of time before he exits

Read a few comments on social media that his father was seen arguing with Forest fans in the stand after a recent game where Johnson was getting lots of abuse. Maybe the relationship with the club is souring pretty quickly, especially after that rumour that his dad was also annoyed with Forest regarding the whole Wales no-show.
Cooper is treating him like a complete workhorse at the moment, when was he last subbed? Even young players need a break now and again.
If Forest go down and he moves on, I hope it won't be to a big club - don't want another D James situation. However I also don't think he's done enough to warrant a BIG move.

I don't think its unreasonable to suggest he could be scoring 15+ in a decent side.

I see Forest just sacked their sporting director, they are putting up a good front but the club seems a bit of a mess under the surface. But that could be said for lot's of clubs i suppose.

Still a long way to go. What’s the odds they beat Arsenal in the penultimate game to escape the drop zone? Be good for us if they stay up so fingers crossed.
