But if your end product is good you're doing something right. It's no coincidence he gets a lot of goals

Scored again, 10 goals in twenty games for Spurs this season, he's scored goals in 10 matches too, not five braces or anything like that, the boy is producing regularly

Another goal! Haven’t watched the game, but according to the BBC live report he’s been fairly quiet all game and then suddenly just come to life with a clinical finish. The sooner people realise this is what he offers and stop expecting him to beat 2 or 3 players every game, the better! He’s a fantastic asset for any side, we should just appreciate him for what he is.

He scored again today, but otherwise didn't really impose himself on the game, Ben Davies however and sporting a black eye from a training accident I presume, had an absolutely outstanding game.

I repeat, he never has been and never will be the type of player who imposes himself on the game if by that you mean someone who will dominate and terrorise defences. Brenann Johnson did what Brennan Johnson does.

Brenann Johnson did what Brennan Johnson does. I don't disagree with your assessment, but I think that limited skillset will continue to cause frustration with the fanbase. As long as he sustains his improved defensive showings then perhaps the fanbase will be more patient with him. Unsurprisingly Johnson's shooting stats are very good, but his passing stats are very poor. Below average on 8 out of 9 metrics, including 0 assists, very few chances created and a very low crossing accuracy of just 13.6%. His defensive stats are average, as are his possession stats. Can he improve? He's improved his defensive work, so I can't see why he can't work on his passing.

According to the BBC report he was the best player on the pitch today.
He imposes himself on scorelines.

I watched the game, Brennan scored a tap in and ran around, but his impact on the game is minimal unless he scores, is that enough ?

You've got to be there in the space to make it a tap in, it's not a fluke that he's already scored ten goals this season. I have to say I find the nitpicking of Brennan Johnson absolutely wild.

I didn't watch the match so wouldn't want to comment on Brennan's ovetall performance. But I have seen the goal. It's a controlled side-foot volley which he places over the goal-keeper and into the roof of the net. Not a goal of the season contender but certainly no tap-in either. Those sort of chances are often either hit into the keeper or hit over the bar. You'd have to be Gareth Bale to consider that just a tap-in.
