Brennan has had a bad time on social media but what does not seem to have been reported is that he made a donation to a youth club in Nottingham. Pelican Colts had their ground and changing areas damaged by travellers causing over £10'000 damage stopping 14 teams from playing and cancelling fixtures. Despite his troubles he has not forgotten where he first started

Let's hope he can now push on from this little period of form, and start doing the business for us as well. About time given his supposed potential. All praise to him for supporting the Nottingham club.

Took his goal well, but then missed a relatively easier chance, he's up and down .

Took his goal well, but then missed a relatively easier chance, he's up and down . That second one was a cross by him, not a shot, wasn’t it? Unless I missed another one.

Let's hope Brennan bags another goal for Spurs tonight in the Europa League, so that he's well in groove ready for our trip to Iceland in a fortnight!

He was taken off after 46 mins according to BBC was he rested or did he have a knock? Suspect it was tactical to protect their 1-0 lead when down to 10 men. Not to put too much of a downer on things, but I think there’s still a lot more he needs to offer. He didn’t take on his man once tonight. When Kulusevski came on, he just gave the full back much more to think about. I’m not sure if he’s just lost confidence with those 1v1s or whether he just doesn’t have it in him, but that’s the main area I think he needs to work on.

Johnson produced 1.4 dribbles per 90 minutes last season - 29th percentile. He had a 39% success rate - 20th percentile for his position. So this is clearly an area of weakness. His dribble success has risen to 50% this season and his defensive stats have been transformed beyond all recognition. So it shows he can improve his game.

Looks like he got a lot of time on the ball. Always a good sign. Maybe the corner is turned.

Is he a bit fragile mentality to be a champions league level player? Anyway that's to be seen maybe, this run will do him good

Is he a bit fragile mentality to be a champions league level player? Anyway that's to be seen maybe, this run will do him good Bit harsh that I reckon. Remember Bale's celebration against Austria; showed that even the greatest of them all aren't impervious to outside criticism. It happens and whatever has happened behind the scenes (his dad, Ange, even Bellers giving advice, or maybe he's seen a sports psych) seems to have helped him out.

Yeah I agree it's a bit harsh tbh, going from being a bigger fish at forest to the massive amount he was bought for and going to one of the most critical set of fans out there the fact he has improved and is becoming a focal point shows he has improved, and he's still a kid really in football terms, can still improve more though I reckon

Lets hope he takes this form into the 2 games and can get a goal or 2 and not look back

Play him through the middle with any of James, Wilson, Sorba, Brooks or even Burns either side of him, just play him through the middle and see what happens in a Bellamy team. I've said it before but if it's ever going to happen for him in a Wales shirt it will be under Bellamy.

100% play him though the middle, every time I've been frustrated by him it's his crossing, not always though but through the middle is the way forward for us ,sure Bellamy has noticed this though, after all he is the manager 😁
