Causing havoc in the play off final already Surely, that should qualify as an assist ;-)

I feel for Brennan. He looked really gutted after losing in the play-offs and on the same day, he also learns that he doesn't make the Euro 2021 final cut.

I can see why Brentford are in for him, statistically he must be performing very well in the metrics they use to sign players given the amount of goals, assists and penalties he won last season. Even if they can't get a deal done for him, it should hopefully force Notts Forest into a position where they need to be taking him seriously as a first team player next season.

Yeah I’d rather him stay in the Championship for a season or two. Don’t think he’s Prem starter ready just yet.

I'm not sure he'd be being brought in to be an immediate start, but a squad player who can develop into a starter. I'm happy with him playing in the Championship for Forest, but if he was to get a move to Brentford it'd be good for his development. They're a club that are developing and improving attacking players.

Yeah season with Forest, next step of his development. Let's see if he can continue in the same vein, if he keeps it up then a Prem move

I see your point, but I think they’ll be too much of an immediate pressure to play their best 11 every game and that may severely limit Brenin’s chances to get meaningful minutes. I can see them sacrificing cup competitions, particularly the League cup, in order to compete in the EPL.

Very good game by him. The next international break is also the perfect opportunity to get him to the magic 4 caps, to allay any fears- if there are any.

Unless he was feeling the effects of his first FULL season & the play-offs, taking Rubin over him still makes no sense to me.
I REALLY hope Brentford don't buy him. A full year at Forest would be perfect. (Although, if he could miss Good Friday through suspension if we still need points, that'd be handy!)

I think Johnson was at the playoffs when the EFL camp happened wasn't he? Nathan Blake runs a Cardiff City podcast and according to that Colwill blew everyone away in those training camps, hence his inclusion in the squad

Needs to be in the next squad in my view, I think he's pushing for minutes as well to be honest. He was the biggest surprise omission from the Euros squad

Johnson doing well.
Just reminds me of the crazy decision to replace a forward, Wilson, with Joniesta instead of Johnson versus Estonia!
Sorba has a decent delivery doesn't he? No need for James to take corners if we have him on the pitch

Brennan Johnson: Huddersfield couldn’t handle his pace. Terriers were terrified every time he powered forward. Fantastic run and assist for the opener. Rating: 9/10

The boy has started this season pretty decently, especially considering the mess that his club have been on the pitch up until yesterday!

Not only has he kept up at Championship level he's had a few excellent moments in a team that's struggling. I think he's going to be a star. By the end of this season he will be very close to our 1st XI

The boy has started this season pretty decently, especially considering the mess that his club have been on the pitch up until yesterday! You make him sound as if he's just out of nappies😁 But good to see he's starting regularly. Rumours that Cooper could be on his way to Forest. That wil be a far tougher gig to turn them around, than his 2 seasons at the Swans.

He's had a few great moments, but he was also completely bullied out of the game against Cardiff where Ng had his number. He's also generally been very quiet when I've watched him at club level and in his games for us. But he definitely has a lot of talent, hopefully the new manager / different style of play will bring i tout of him a bit more
