Martyn I know stub hub verify the tickets before issuing them. I have never needed to use them but friends did for England v Wales in 2016. There is always some risk and VERY expensive

Anyone else bought tickets for the semi final and final? Fans First, as a Follow your Team - certainly did! Have never been to the New Wembley, so looking forward to visiting there in July.
Knowing Rambo, he might force us all to go there in June as group winners ;-)

Are there still cat 1 tickets left for Rome? According to Twitter, as of 2 hours ago, Cat 1 for Rome and R16 are still available

Does it actually matter whose name is on the tickets. I actually doubt it does I remember my father and me getting stopped on the outskirts of Lens by the French police in euro 2016 and they checked our passports and tickets.

Manulike better get saving I know the food was expensive when I went to see Palace and Wrexham in wembley and I would think the beer is expensive as well.

Just found this section from the UEFA ticket rules www.euro2020.com/TicketingTC3.25. Where an Applicant is permitted to purchase Tickets for Guests, Guests named in a Successful Applicants application for Tickets cannot be named in multiple applications for Tickets, regardless of whether such Guest is the named Successful Applicant or the named Guest of another Successful Applicant. Applications which result in the named Guest being named on multiple applications (whether as a Guest or a Successful Applicant) are not permitted and will be cancelled. 3.26. Any Successful Applicant who purchases or is allocated Tickets for the relevant Match via an Allocation Window is not permitted to receive Tickets for such Match via any other Allocation Window. Similarly, any Successful Applicant who purchases or is allocated Tickets for the relevant Match via any other method are not permitted to receive Tickets pursuant to these Terms and Conditions. Any Request for such Tickets will be rejected or cancelled, regardless of whether such Request has been accepted by UEFA Events SA. Where the Tickets have been cancelled by UEFA Events SA pursuant to this Article 3.26, the Successful Applicant will not be due a refund for such cancelled Tickets (as they have been obtained in breach of these Terms and Conditions). A friend wants to get FYT ticket but concerned as he has a Guest ticket - Rome game only. Unclear whether 3.25 covers individual games or not. Anyone have any insight as to whether he’ll be alright as he’s applying for different games to the one for which he has a ticket? Cheers

Cheers It appears to be common consensus both here and on Twitter, that if you leave the guest ticket blank, that will be an accepted transaction - and UEFA will contact you 2 weeks or so before the match to get the name. Admittedly, this could be different for ROME, as the Rome authorities specifically want to know the full ID including place of birth. Nonetheless, I imagine that even to Rome requirements will still be satisfied, when the details are given two weeks ahead.
Either way, if the transaction is successful, you know immediately (or at least within 5 minutes or so) ...
GOOD LUCK

Show I have ID and tickets but no effort ever made to show they match.

Tickets dropped into a courier pick up point, tracking showed when they were delivered and 3 week after the game I got paid.
Occasionally these companys screw up but reality is mostly they do not.
They had my CC, in event tickets did not turn up, my credit card was getting a hit for replacement tickets. They also had my ID verified so you won't be joining a second time if do a scam.
I hate them with a passion but there was no other way to get rid of the tickets.

The Lens security thing, was very specific - there was a local cordon of ticket holders only within a couple of miles of the stadium.
As for OD's remark ... well, I attended 14 matches in France, and you are right - I was never asked to prove my ticket matched my ID. Nonetheless, when picking up my R16 ticket in Paris, there was a big fuss about my passport number not matching my profile on-line. And that was despite the name actually matching. Took a long five minutes and two officials to OK my newly issued passport as good enough to ID me ...

May have only been for that match.
Was in Lens twice and used the Park and Ride, second game I had 2 spare tickets and arranged for an English guy to meet me but he cancelled last minute without telling me until afterwards. Sold to a Croatian guy right outside stadium. Didn't notice any cordon as people moving freely around.

Concerned that in our group we have bought tickets and have accidently put the same guest down on 2 applications just for one of the games. Don't know whether to email UEAFA or try and just let it slip under the radar. Both applications were successful at the time

Both applications were successful at the time Done the same for the Rome match and have contacted UEFA to change the guest name on 1 of the tickets but they keep saying no under the ticket rules , there is no common sense or leniency with them regarding honest mistakes . FAW cannot help so I do not what we can do next ? Want to keep things above board but UEFA are being very stubborn over the matter , and don't want to kick up too much fuss or may well end up getting tickets cancelled by them !

Just wait. They are still dealing with new ticket purchases, you will probably be able to change details in a couple of months time.

You could probably save a couple of hundred bucks out of Melbourne, but I'd say Emirates from ADL to Baku with a two hour stop-over in Dubai, is very convenient - A$1600 return
