When does the General Sale portal re-open and close? General sale closes on 18th all tickets will be sold by then A resale window and any tickets returned by sponsors will be in spring and that will stay open if like last time until final as they will release more tickets as teams progress

BA Baracus the resale portal may well be a decent option for buying. A lot of neutrals will be sitting on tickets for the game and decide that Italy v Wales is not for them. In a 72k staduim there is no doubt some will be available in neutral areas.

Can anyone remind me if name changes are permitted for the final (guest ticket only)? If nobody knows, I'll email support.

Does it actually matter whose name is on the tickets. I actually doubt it does

I doubt they will in Italy as Uefa regulations are always so lax. If you think about how many tickets UEFA pass around 'the football family!'

Any idea how many Baku tickets left? For either game.
Only have enough points to buy them Monday but have already booked flights!
Do cat 3 tickets seem readily available?

Does it actually matter whose name is on the tickets. I actually doubt it does I don't think it matters whose name is on the tickets and if the person entering with the ticket has to match the name on the ticket, but for Rome especially this stadium it is renown for having strict passport/ID checks and rejecting people at the entrance if they don't have ID on them. They do this for Roma + Lazio football and Italy rugby matches at that stadium. So something to keep in the back of your mind if attending matches at Rome stadium (eg #26 Italy vs. Wales) and we will hopefully get some confirmation about this after the first match of the tournament there (#1 Turkey vs. Italy).

I asked a question to clarify if you can transfer the guest ticket to a different person. The following is the negative reply. I have re-phrased the question as the reply was as if I as the purchaser couldn't attend, and if I get anything more positive, I will post it.
"Thank you for your email.
If you can no longer make it to the match, you will not be able to return, cancel or transfer tickets to third parties. All sales are final.
Please note that the guests cannot enter the stadium if the main applicant is not present.
Tickets are for personal use of the applicant and her/his guest(s) only and neither the applicants nor their guest may sell, offer for sale, auction, resell (unless authorized by UEFA) or otherwise transfer their tickets.
We thank you for your understanding."

Thanks Steve, in France it was rumoured that you had to be the person named on the ticket but it was nonsense. My pal had to buy a ticket off a French chap, with his name on it. The id shout is a good one but no panic to match based on all known evidence.

I would say I'd checks will not happen in most stasis except rome where I think they will check went to juventus game last week and everyones I'd checked to match ticket Rambo played 10 mins

I have been to a rugby match at the Rome stadium and ID wasn’t checked. I went to France using someone else’s tickets and t wasn’t an issue, but ID was checked at the qualifier in Croatia. If they enforce ID checks then there’s a possibility of the police having to manage hundreds/ thousands of ticket less fans- irate ones at that.

The seating and security arrangement plus other allocations will go on sale.
Even with the qualifiers there will still be in excess of 100k tickets still to be sold for 1st round.

With hindsight I would have left my guest blank and added later but I was of the impression that the guest names could be changed anyway , UEFA have given me the response shown further above too but will keep on trying . Don't know if FAW or Fan Embassy can have any input on this , all I want is 1 name for 1 ticket changing .

When you think about it there is no way someone could know for sure who they will end up going to an event with on a particular day in seven months time as things change and unexpected stuff happens. They just need to say these sorts of things as a deterrent for scummy scalpers.

Not sure if this tweet refers to the main account holder who at time of purchase does not nominate a guest then like the tweet says closer to game you can amend and send the guest info , but if already named a guest UEFA are telling us that we cannot amend . This is totally confusing and we need some clarification over who can and cannot amend guest tickets .

Just found this section from the UEFA ticket rules www.euro2020.com/TicketingTC3.25. Where an Applicant is permitted to purchase Tickets for Guests, Guests named in a Successful Applicants application for Tickets cannot be named in multiple applications for Tickets, regardless of whether such Guest is the named Successful Applicant or the named Guest of another Successful Applicant. Applications which result in the named Guest being named on multiple applications (whether as a Guest or a Successful Applicant) are not permitted and will be cancelled. 3.26. Any Successful Applicant who purchases or is allocated Tickets for the relevant Match via an Allocation Window is not permitted to receive Tickets for such Match via any other Allocation Window. Similarly, any Successful Applicant who purchases or is allocated Tickets for the relevant Match via any other method are not permitted to receive Tickets pursuant to these Terms and Conditions. Any Request for such Tickets will be rejected or cancelled, regardless of whether such Request has been accepted by UEFA Events SA. Where the Tickets have been cancelled by UEFA Events SA pursuant to this Article 3.26, the Successful Applicant will not be due a refund for such cancelled Tickets (as they have been obtained in breach of these Terms and Conditions).

Interesting find. I would think a few may already have fallen foul of that rule. I.e. get their mate to name them as a guest. Then later, buy one in their own name.
