er are you able to have 2 plane tickets on 1 phone ? UEFA have better grasp of technology than some people think.
I don’t know if you are able to have two plane tickets on one phone haha I’m one of those crazy fools who prints out the boarding passes Have printed them, used a PDF, word document, photo'd from computer screen, photoed from app when using different doors and used app when going with littlie, oh and occasionally had a printed one from checkin (Kutaisi to Basel) as no mobile pass allowed.
Long as it can scan is the key point and always useful to have options....... airports with printing facilities / hotels who will do it and even when checked in and scanner couldn't read phone the "Pay £40" option never occurred because asked politely.
Key is always have a second, third and maybe fourth option.

The whole comparison here about UEFA Mobile Ticketing and Flight Boarding Passes is abit strange since they aren't really the same thing. UEFA Mobile tickets definitely won't be printable. Your seats are allocated around a week before kickoff. You open (or transfer other tickets to friends/family) all via the ticketing mobile app. They are activated with bluetooth when you are close to the stadium entrance/gate. This video demonstrates how it works: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyqUEwHtiY4 and were tested at the Europa League, Super Cup, Nations League, and some Euro Qualifiers at some host venues in the last year.

The one thing guaranteed about software is that it never works as intended, when needed, under pressure.
Bit like Military battle plans that are brilliant until first contact with an enemy.
Always have an alternate plan and the idea something on screen can't be printed is laughable, everything on screen can be printed, just have to be creative, just because can't be done from an app means zilch.

Completely agree. Never used the tech myself but saw many people with issues at the Wembley and ArenA trials and also heard a few bad footage from a Nations League match of the tech not working so hope they ironed it out. Probably shouldn't have quoted your comment but didn't want to go back to the other page. It was more aimed at the other people talking about printing their mobile ticket and all of that. Hopefully it all runs smoothly. In terms of transferring tickets it is apparently very smooth though. On to Baku!

I have no idea which technology UEFA will use, but it’s normal in the US now to only be able to get into a venue with mobile tickets. No printed tickets allowed. You can go to the box office to try and sort if problems occur, but that’s a mare. Some venues even require the tickets to be open in their app on your phone when it’s scanned as the bar code is “live”. This means the bar code is constantly scanning which prevents the ticket from being downloaded on to your phone. Completely nuts in my view, but I’ve experienced this a few times over there and it’s a pain. Hopefully UEFA won’t be this dumb.

Just for those (like my self) that were worried about needing to use WiFi/Data for this technology, then the answer from UEFA is:
"No. An internet connection will only be required to download the tickets. You will not need an internet connection to enter the stadium once you have downloaded the tickets.
Your phone will, however, need to be charged and have Bluetooth on."

And bottom line is if people read it and have a back up plan then all is not in vain.
Even if back up plan A doesn't, work people will still be thinking of other options, worst situation is when you meet people who find their perfectly laid out plan doesn't work.
They stuck because their mind set is still getting the plan to work rather than think of other options, hence anger abuse at whomever they could.
Anybody who has followed football around Europe, or travelled other than a package holiday arranged to the nth degree, will know the planes don't always run on time, trains not working, taxis want arms and legs to bring you to this place and on loads of occasions someone local will have an option not considered.
Coming back home and tell people we missed getting from Baku to Rome because airline didn't run so we missed the match but suing them for compo is boring.
Coming back home and telling people, flight didn't run but we got a lift in a van from Baku to Tblisi by a couple going there, we drove and they drove, got another lift to an airport in west Georgia. Got bought dinner on the way, where we got a plane to Milan and got the train to Rome where train guard put us in 1st class because we football supporters and lost but Italian cop asked him to do it as we had no train ticket as we would have mised the train buying it. Got to Rome and someone from the railway company got a cop to give us a lift in a battered Fiat to the stadium driving like Lewis Hamilton on speed on wrong side of the road. Got to game 1 hr before start in a panic but left bags in left luggage. Oh yeah couple we met in Baku invited us to their wedding next year. F*****g wow what a trip.
Which would you rather be telling ?

I was expecting them to go pretty quickly, especially as we were complaining on here that 12000 wasn’t a very big allocation

No, he just cocked up the order. Got two Quarters tickets (which he can't make) instead of two Final tickets. God knows how!

Due to buying tickets for all the home games in the last few campaigns individually instead of on tournament tickets, I'm not going to get my code until Monday. What do you think are the chances of there still being tickets available for the games in Baku by then?

From social media posts Cat3 are still available in Baku so I would not think it’s an issue I believe we have 10k tickets per game I will be amazed if we take over half this to each game It was only a few weeks ago we played a qualifier there and those tickets went to general sale
