Does anyone know what will happen to the tickets bought through the FAW that have been resold ? Will they be resold as ‘neutral’ tickets by UEFA or will the FAW sell these on a fcfs basis to red wall members ? On a side note I notice England have been allocated more tickets for their group games today. Do you have a link for that? Can corky bring this up in the FSA meeting - for more tickets for Rome? Link from the English FA: www.thefa.com/news/2020/feb/20/euro-2020-additional-ticketsI read an article last week that over 70k Croatian fans applied for tickets for the game vs England at Wembley, so it will be interesting to see if Croatia also get an increased allocation.

For the resale portal, anyone know if we'd need FAW access codes like last time, or is it just a free for all this time? For the purpose of the actual portal, I imagine its a free-for-all. To get into the FAW area, perhaps make use a friend's group ID number, who already has a FAW allocated seat?

Tickets allocated in December via FAW that are resold (IMHO) should have a penalty attached in that the person loses the games plus others from their record.
Issue could be that as tickets resold then you could end up with opposing fans in Wales fan area. However likely UEFA will just reallocate the tickets to keep the group together and sold tickets are put into other area.

Do you all think tickets will be easy to buy from UEFA for Wales v Switzerland (even out in Baku on the day before/day of the game)? My feeling is they'll almost be giving them away, but you never know. The reason I ask ... One of our group has 2 tickets on a single purchase (lead + guest). The lead isn't able to attend, but the guest is. And the guest is now travelling with someone else, who doesn't have a ticket. My advice is to put the tickets up for resale in the portal, and then hope to pick up 2 new tickets - both with the correct names on them. I think the main applicant ticket will be useless as according to the video, as there will be no way of transferring it. (At least, not without sharing login details?) www.uefa.com/uefaeuro-2020/ticketing/mobile-tickets-app/

Only going to Italy from uk cheapest options would be London to Naples then a cheap €10 70 minutes train also worth looking at Florence with a 90 mins fast-train connection / circa €15-€20
can you leave Friday or return late Monday / early Tuesday? do you prefer non london dept?

<!----> You can also fly to milan and the train can take as little as 3 hours. Likely you will pay more for the train than your flight from milan. I am flying to Bologna which is 2 hours 15.

Only going to Italy from uk Use Skyscanner / Rometorio ............
Can do UK airports to Rome then UK airports to Italy etc etc and just find the best option for you.
I use RometoRio.com in finding ground transport from one place to the next but factor in the whole cost of getting to UK airport / getting from Italian airport to Rome including all the transport costs (food) and time.
If you have loads of time then adding in Florence / Pisa etc and train from there may be a great opportunity but likewise if time is tight it may not work.
Sometime booking starting a train journey from elsewhere with a pick up in city you in could be cheaper......... i.e. when ROI played Swiss in Geneva, flew into Basel from Georgia and booked train from Freiburg to Geneva, half the cost of the Basel - Geneva train but same train , one day may even get to Freiburg.
Potentially a stop over in a European city may also work as while UK to Rome direct could be expensive Bristol to Krakow to Rome could be a lot less.
Ultimately comes down to a trade off between price / time / convenience / flexibility.
I did East Mids to Tenerife and back to Luton in Jan. Friends thought mad as Gatwick is closest airport but cost £60 per person v £150 pp from Gatwick.

<!----> Not quite sure yet but ideally fly from close (Cardiff). I have Friday and Monday off work oooouch. I have about twenty flights all over Europe in June/July and total cost is about £550...
Currently, Easy Jet Bristol-Rome return is circa ... £900 ;-(
More straightforward, but still pricey is Easy Jet BRS - PISA for £260 return + €20 / 2-hour train.
DEPARTING VERY LATE ON THURSDAY? WIZZ AIR fly BRS to KATOWICE Dept Thur 2130 arrive 0100 on Friday for £45 FLIXBUS have a 2-hour bus to KRAKOW for €10 Dept 2am. Ryan Air fly FRIDAY Krakow to ROME Dept 1540 arrive Rome 1735 for £44 OR A DAY IN KRAKOW?
Ryan Air fly FRIDAY Krakow to PISA Dept 9pm arrive Pisa 2250 for £28
IF YOU DON'T MIND CONNECTING AND STAYING OVERNIGHT IN COLOGNE
BRS-CGN Dept Friday 5pm on Ryan Air for £20 CGN-ROME Dept Saturday on Ryan Air at 12:35 and arrive ROME at 14:30 for €79
VERY EARLY START ON FRIDAY / Ryan Air
Dept BRS 06:30 and arrive 09:50 Valencia £80 4 hours at Valencia Dept 13:55 and arrive ROME 15:50 €21
PUSHED FOR TIME?
BRS-WARSAW on Ryan Air Saturday 2140 arrive WAW Sunday 0110 for £19
WAW-ROME on Wizz Air Dept SUNDAY 0630 arrive ROME 0900 for £55
TRAVEL ON SUNDAY - MATCH DAY Bristol to BOLOGNA on Ryan Air Dept 0700 arrive 1020 £56 Train from BOL to ROME circa €20-€30 2-hours
East Midlands to Pisa also on Ryan Air Dept Sunday 1125 arrive PISA 1440 for £21 ... this one is much less comfortable for the 6pm ko...
Have a play around n the Lufthansa web site. £150-£200 return fares BRS-Rome, but only obvious flight back arrives BRS on Tuesday 0900 - but worth a look!
FOR THOSE IN THE LONDON AREA
An interesting connecting flight to catch is Ryan Air FROM Paris Beauvais to ROME. There is a 20:50 on THURSDAY evening getting into Rome at 11pm FOR ONLY €25

Great to hear that UEFA are actually sending out emails ;-) My Saint Pete 1/4 final tickets have all been paid for since 1.30pm but still no email as of 4.30pm... Nonetheless, I did go into the the portal around 3pm and there is an invoice saying PAID on the account for said tickets '=))
Just a point for anyone still buying from the portal - the email might take a VERY LONG TIME... Speaking of which THE ENTRY TO PORTAL TIME RIGHT NOW IS AROUND 90 MINUTES!!!

Pretty gutted by this, shelled out several hundred quid for Cat 1 tickets for Rome. Can't go now but looks like little chance of them being resold.
And if I *could* have gone, I could easily have picked tickets up for 50 euro each now...
What a system.

I think that you'll eventually get this resold for sure, there's still four months to the match and I'm sure that the game will eventually be a sell out, with it being a home game for Italy. It is an odd system, I didn't think there'd be a hope in hell of there being Cat 3 tickets available for Rome, never there being some remaining after over 2 hours waiting.

Seem to be only CAT 1 and Cat 2 restricted view tickets now left in ROME.
If the process brings up an error message, be sure to check and see your BASKET does not already contain the ticket.
Appears easier to add one at a time - just going BACK on the back button, or clicking again on the TICKETS main button.
