Was looking on transfermarkt and found a young New Zealander called Finn Surman, 18 y.o. centre half played a few games for Wellington Phoenix in the A-League www.transfermarkt.co.uk/finn-surman/profil/spieler/724809Don't know if it's confirmed or not, nothing on dragonsoccer so might not be genuine and perhaps an admin error? FAW aware of this lad? |

Confirmed by dragonsoccer this morning born in Wales. Not to say it's a gimme but surely worth inviting him a long to the U19's or U21's? Just to see for himself what the set up is like. |

Agreed, or at the very least further scouting. I’m sure NZ will be looking at him for their set-up too. No youth appearances for them so far that I can see though. Was South African born Andrew Surman eligible for us? This is going back a long time now as he’s 35 but I could’ve sworn he was eligible. Can you confirm or deny this just for my own curiosity |

Accrington Stanley's website lists him as Welsh, and transfermarkt has him down as born in Birkenhead but eligible for Wales, but haven't seen him mentioned on dragonsoccer. He's played every game since moving to AS on loan last month, playing in defence alongside Ryan Astley and Mitch Clark. Only just turned 23. |
