There must be a CM playing at Championship level that's waiting to be unearthed.......I'm amazed how little we have in that area of the pitch.

Shall I start naming every Welsh player in the Cymru Leagues?! Is there anyone you think could be called up to a squad in the future? Aeron Edwards?

Rhys Thomas a 20 year old defender at Cove Rangers, looks eligible. Plays for Keith on loan in the Highland league. If he ever makes the Wales set up I will change my middle name by deedpol to Keith! Sounds like a deal. I didn’t think we wrote off lads when Chris Gunter still gets a sniff. Who knows on paper he’s still young and technically at a Scottish Championship side. The same level of opposition who demolished TNS recently.

I dunno where to post this utterly useless information that only about 4 football nerds like me would find interesting but I think in here is best. Retired former international player turned Australian football tv pundit Robbie Cornthwaite will be supporting Wales as his mum’s Welsh. So if you need a favourite non Welsh pundit here’s ya man and also for those keeping track of Welsh qualified players who played for other countries you can add him to the list. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Cornthwaite_(soccer)

On the point of eligibility, a bit random but does anyone know how Max Melbourne got U15/U16 caps?
DS has him down as currently ineligible. Just genuinely intrigued as to how his eligibility status has seemingly changed.

Huh that’s interesting, I’ve speculated with Chem Campbell that a similar situation has happened I.e his gran is from wales but then they find out she actually moved there at 2 or something, not saying that’s what happened just speculating sounds silly but that’s what happened with Aaron wildig

Campbell's been on standby lists though hasn't he? If that were the case they'd have just said he's ineligible

Various sources have changed his place of birth and now has his birthplace as different to wales. So I’m just being conspiracy theorist because after seeing that I wonder if it came to light he wasn’t actually born here and this isn’t eligible?

Nothing wrong about being a conspiracy realist😉 it was the Cia after all that first came up with that phrase, right after Kennedy was shot.

Chem is definitely eligible. He's been called up and put on standby lists which means his paperwork has gone through
The Wilding situation was an outlier, wouldn't happen again

I’m not sure that Chem Campbell’s Welsh eligibility is very high on many of those American right wing conspiracy websites plans to boost clicks, haha.

What about Cedwyn Scott at Notts County? Born in England but with his first name must surely be some Welsh family.
I know he's only playing at National League level but is 23 and has a good goal scoring record over the past 2 seasons

I asked the question a couple of years ago but didn't get an answer.
I've dropped him a message on twitter, just want to hear straight from the horses mouth!
