Has the flight(s) been cancelled? If not, then you wouldn't be entitled to a cash refund. If the flights have indeed been cancelled, then take it up with your credit or debit card service provider.
I've been hearing on the Radio these last few days that Halifax (Clarity) are particularly good about it, so I submitted a request with them today. In the email response they say "within 45 days" - but people on the radio saying 4 to 5 days!
Yes flights have been cancelled for June 8th

We're going out with BUTA on the 12th but we've had no notification from the airline that the flights are cancelled. I'll have to get on with claiming refunds this week but there's such a lot of bookings its a pain in the arse. If they try and palm you off with vouchers you don't want can you go to your credit card company at that stage or do you still have to jump through the hoops the airlines put in front of you ? Just be on the BUTA site. Good news in that they have now cancelled flights up until the 1st July so we should be good for the return trip as well. Getting the money might not be so easy. AZAL will be the same no doubt. Even better. Appears Pegasus flights are also cancelled to the 1st July or certainly the Istanbul - Rome connection. That's all our flights cancelled now.

Of the 35 flights I booked for the 5 of us I have so far received 0/35 refunds. If they're trying to wear us down they're succeeding. I dread to think how much time I've put in already. Buta have eventually told me after several emails, separating each application making sure all details were correct that I can only apply 60 days after they've recommenced normal operations. They don't define normal operations so that could be anytime. What's the process of reclaiming through your credit card ?

Contact your credit card company they should advise you, I understand that you are entitled to either request a chargeback against the airline or raise a Section 75 claim as the service was not provided. Best of luck!

Have checked the rules of your tickets? When I phoned them I was surprised to find out we were allowed to cancel whatever the circumstances. Possibly something to do with the fact that we also booked hold luggage, which was one step above the lowest "economy" tickets. We don't have hold luggage - but I will still give them a ring to hear what they say. Ges ti unrhyw lwc efo nhw? Did you have any luck with them?

They're refunding the Riga - Kiev leg on the way out. They say Ill get it within 90 days of the flight being cancelled which was the 14th May. I'll take that to be honest. 5 down 30 to go. Buta are driving me to distraction to be honest. I'll probably go via the credit card refund for the 10 flights with them. Pegasus means ringing their call centre I assume in Turkey and as for the 15 flights with Ryanair, that's looking like a full time job.

The main issue that I have is that most of the flights referred to above (18 of them) are booked via Opodo. It's just them and the airlines blaming each other and no way of getting either of them to commit to putting anything in writing. It's a complete nightmare.

Anyone had any joy with Azal? I got offered a partial refund a few months ago which I decided against but predictably I’ve heard bugger all off them with just 5 days left. Just emailed them asking them to cough up. No response as yet.

Just emailed them asking them to cough up. No response as yet. They're the same company as BUTA and I'm pretty sure they have the same rules. BUTA have led me a merry dance in the week. Not accepting the application because it didn't include the ticket number, I amended the details and resubmitted, still no luck, I put them all in attachment, still wouldn't have it and then split them all 10 up with the ticket number in the address bar. Finally accepted, not quite, they replied telling me I would have to submit the applications 60 days after the resumption of normal operations. On the basis they are currently selling no tickets, to anywhere, at any time that may be a long wait. I'll wait till Friday and go through my credit card I think.

"Azerbaijan Airlines" Press Service informs that AZAL does not plan to operate domestic and international scheduled passenger flights until June 15, 2020.
We also inform that until June 15, 2020, it is forbidden to accept aircrafts of foreign airlines operating regular passenger flights to the airports of Azerbaijan. The position has now been updated by Azal press service: "Azerbaijan Airlines reports that until July 1, 2020, all airports of Azerbaijan are closed for scheduled passenger flights." www.azal.az/en/offer/549 . So that helps. I contacted them yesterday and got a prompt standard response. Basically, they're allowing rebooking or voucher for up to 12 months from original travel dates (for any flights before 1 July 2020). If the tournament is still on and if UEFA sticks to the same host cities and the same schedules then we would need it to be 12 months and one day, so 12 months is useless. Also obviously useless if tournament doesn't go ahead etc. So, basically can't see any scenario where this voucher would be any good. The only hope therefore is the following sentence in the standard e-mail: "In case of your disagreement with the above conditions, the airline is ready to provide full refund for your tickets in a consistent order 60 days after the resumption of normal operations." Don't mind waiting but unfortunately we booked through Opodo so, even if Azal play ball, we might not see our money.

Had a cancellation of our Istanbul to Rome flight 18 June but not the Baku to Istanbul leg. I had booked direct with Turkish Airlines. Didn't find the website easy as one part of the booking was still live. Bit the bullet and rang Turkish Airlines help desk. (press 9 for English language)
To be fair chap was great. Explained second part of flight was cancelled but I wanted full refund. Sorted in about 4 minutes. Sent confirmation emails of full refund to credit card while I was on the phone for both legs of the journey. He did say it may take 2 months but this was the most expensive of the flights and I had begun to worry the flight wasn't going to be cancelled. A good result.
Not sure what others have found but this has been my best experience yet.
Agency websites have demanded 100% penalties. Trip.com has been a nightmare so far.

Further update to the above phoned Trip.com this was better service than the website. Full refund promised with no penalty. This will be a real result if it comes through.

Turkish airlines are still flying out of UK on 11th, our flight from Stansted is not cancelled yet. There must be 100s in same boat, anyone know any more on this?
If this doesn’t change we’ll have to contact insurance since government advise is still not to travel.

I found Turkish Airlines best for refunds for my Baku - Istanbul - Rome flights. Wizz Air are holding my cash until I book with them in future presumably. Luton - Budapest - Baku. With EasyJet Rome - Luton. I used their voucher offer to book a flight next year. Not great I know.
