Great result for Johnny knocking Van Gerwen out in the playoffs. Still a joke price the number one couldn’t take part due to a covid test, that he retook a further two times with both coming back negative.

2 big results tonight, Price's game was a real nail biter but Clayton cruised through. I fancy Clayton to win the whole thing.

Clayton & Michael Smith are the best two players in the world right now. That is a frankly brutal L16 tie.

I know Gerwyn is seen as the pantomime villain but the coverage & level of abuse by the mainly English cowardly trailer park trash village idiots crowd who were continually singing “sheep shagging bastard we know what you are”.etc etc was disgraceful.

Looks like they're finally clamping down on it:
Hopefully anyone repeating the chants heads towards Price a couple of nights ago will get the same treatment. Not expecting the crowd to be very good towards Clayton tonight either.

Yeah, but to be fair we sing the same song about ourselves (in saying that I have never liked it) True but just imagine the uproar from the English press if this was happening to English players in another country. The crowds in this years World championship have mainly been nasty dimwitted sewer dwelling English cowards & if this was happening in football would have been kicked out. They are turning it into a type of football match they are constantly singing God Save the Queen as well .

That was hard to take, very well fought by Clayton but ultimately didn't have the bottle to match Smith in the end. Over to you Gezzy!

Clayton so unfortunate to run into the only player (other than maybe Gezzy) that is even playing close to his level right now. The three best players in the world right now, ALL in the same quarter.

He got distracted by that fan before the end.
Its disgusting behavior by the fans but the problem is that darts has always had that hooligan element. One man's banter is another man#s offence. Unfortunately, his behaviour in the past has set him up to be the pantomine vilian.
Its unfortunate that darts requires concentration, so those idiots last night may have swayed the result. Sure Smith looked more impressive but Price was on the verge of victory when he was getting distracted.

Love the passion, commitment and to see how much it means to them: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/commonwealth-games/62378752So gutted for the women's table tennis team - we were so, so close to getting to the final and ended up fourth without a medal. To think they put that much into their sport when they hardly get paid very much is just so inspiring. In case you don't know, we topped our group and thrashed England (who were at home of course and higher seeded) 3-0 in the process of qualifying for the semis Our men's hockey team also put up a massive fight against England having pulled it back to 2-2 after having to play 10 minutes with 2 players send off, before losing out 4-2 in the latter stage of the match, when those card hurt them Loads of Calon! So proud of the effort!

Was watching it live as we lost in the semi. Great effort and a great team. I’m absolutely in love with Carey. I need a girl with that much passion for Wales. Unlucky girls! Thanks for giving a shit. I was at the table tennis in Gold Coast cheering Wales and I’ll be in Victoria in 26 watching us win team gold <3

I went to watch the Croft brothers from Crymych in the boxing yesterday. They both won and their next bouts are tomorrow. They deserve every support.

Watched a few sports I wouldn't usually just because it's Wales - the bowls gold was great also, really enjoyed the netball against Scotland the other night. Whilst I don't fully understand it - I appreciate how much of a shift those girls put in to win that. Looking forward to Joel Makin in the squash final tonight.

I also cannot wait for the Makin match. I’ve watched him every round. If he wins gold he’s definitely a contender for bbc wales sports personality of the year as he beat the defending champion and would have to beat world number 1. Thank god for I player, can just turn off bbc 1/2 eccentric “England’s fucking great” attitude and focus on a chosen sport

As you say, It'll be great if he wins the final. To beat that Wilstrop is already hell of an achievement.

Ye I know. But having lived in 3 countries that aren’t in the uk my comment was meant to come across as me having a dig at the bbc other countries don’t obsess with showing the last ten minutes of a sport they’ve won a medal in. They show sports in their entirety . No chopping and changing and they show sports their athletes actually aren’t in the final of. Think how weird it is that the table tennis gold medal matches aren’t on tv even though hundreds of millions watched in India. BBC is so “We are great let’s have a chat about this bronze instead of showing you sport” as oppose to actually showing sport

Out of curiosity I googled Welsh swimmer at the games Medi Harris and indeed she was born in September.
I think I had a lucky escape as I could have been called Chwefror!!

At my welsh speaking school a Geography teacher used to say he knew of two people who couldn’t speak welsh who called their daughter allanfa-dan. I’ve seen this on twitter on other occasions so surely an urban myth.
