Celtic? He's a Rodgers type of player in many ways. Abertawe😉 N'tcham is off to Turkey if the rumours are true. Swans in dire need of some creativity, after what I saw v Brum yesterday

Either needs a loan or a permanent move. Will be 22 by the end of the season. 60 Championship games under his belt is a good thing, but you can't have 2-3 years stagnating not getting senior football

Struggle to believe that ch’ship or PL side would be after him. What’s he done in 24 months to warrant that interest?
Down to League 1 sounds about right, however its quite worrying that he hasnt impressed any of the 3 or 4 managers Cardiff have had over the last 2 years.
I sadly think he’s just another player who hasnt and wont fulfill his potential.

I think for his own good he should leave Cardiff. I also think Cardiff will massively regret messing him around so much and cocking up his integration into the first team so badly. Had he come through the academy at a club like Norwich, Sunderland or Leeds I'm certain he'd already be an established Championship regular by now. I'm confident he'll make a good career for himself at Championship level at least.

I sadly think he’s just another player who hasnt and wont fulfill his potential. Contract's up at the end of the season, he has clear ability, there are plenty of players who have looked like not fulfulling their potential only to thrive under the right manager. Chuba Akpom had a mediocre career until Carrick took over at Boro, now he's at Ajax. Those 3 or 4 managers were all relieved of their duties, with most of them bringing in a load of crap clogging up the first team squad that we can't get rid of. Cardiff had a relatively promising crop of youngsters a few years ago and they've pretty much all been managed woefully, particularly Colwill, Davies & Joel Bagan who have been kept around as backups and given 5 minute cameos rather than being sent out on loan to get 30 games under their belts

If the pattern of our young players are being linked with Premier League and Championship moves. Likelihood is he'll be playing League One/Two football next season then.

Looks like he's staying. Straight from Bulut's mouth: "No interest in loaning him out. He will stay definitely with us. I know he has some offers, but he will stay."
I hope there's a plan for him then, because he really can't afford to waste another season just getting the odd cameo off the bench.

They should loan him out until January in League One, see how he does an re-evaluate. He needs senior minutes, it's no good being on the bench and getting a small run out every so often

He could probably do with a loan though the 2 squads he's not been a part of have been Leeds & Leicester away, probably the 2 toughest fixtures we'll have Tanner's been getting a lot of buzz on social media but Colwill remains the brightest prospect at the club, it would be pure folly not to have a plan in place for him. 61 Championship appearances and 8 Wales caps at 21 is not to be sniffed at, especially considering all the bizarre stick he gets for getting injured

Linked with a loan move to League 1 as well as permanent moves to Championship and PL clubs No mention of PL or championships clubs. 3 clubs were Bolton, Charlton and Reading. Bulut says he’s staying and will get game time including cup games and championship games. Colwill definitely needs to up his game though. Doesn’t seem to have the heart to track back and defend/tackle which is a huge part of the modern game.

Doesn’t seem to have the heart to track back and defend/tackle which is a huge part of the modern game. The tweet referenced interest from Pl to L1 for loan and permanent options. I imagine the L1 clubs are those interested in bringing him now on loan, whereas the champ and prem interest is to get him on a small fee (given he only has a year left) or wait until his contract expires. He's certainly had admirers in the prem for a long time - none less than Klopp, who was full of praise when they played Cardiff a couple of years ago. The reporter tweeting this is very reliable, so I'm inclined to think it is legit and prem clubs would probably see him as a project player at a fairly low risk / fee. There are numerous examples in football of talented youngemsters taking time to find their feet, particularly when confronted with the type of barriers Colwill's faced, so I certainly think he could still become a really good player. But it could equally go the other way

81st-minute introduction yesterday. Think his first task is to be Ramsey's direct replacement when coming off the bench. It's a very small thing but subbing on for the defender in slight re-arrangement of playing XI with someone else coming on for Ramsey is more concern at this point.

He’ll likely start against Birmingham on Tuesday and continue to get minutes every game in the league. Not ideal only having 20 odd mins on Saturday but he’ll get lots of football this season and will be training with Ramsey every day. I think he’s going to do well this season

His brother is on the bench. How good is he? Highly thought of in the academy and by first team coaching staff, some opinions are that he is better than Rubin but I can’t confirm as haven’t seen him play. Great goal by Rubin tonight

Haven't watched much of Cardiff this season yet, but only heard good things about Colwill in all his preseason games, league cameos, and cup games. Good to see he's shown Bulut what he's capable of - there's a good chance he'll have a more prominent role in his thinking going forward.

Good to hear some positivity about him this evening.
He looks like to have slimmed down a bit as well from the pictures I've seen.
