What should not be overlooked regarding players who have a bit of 'attitude', is that we as Wales are limited in player depth, so we simply cannot afford to leave out a player that has such potential as Colwill, and if there is anyone who should know about 'attitudes' it's Bellamy. It's nothing to do with his attitude - he's shown a top class attitude, particularly when dropped down to the u21s where he just cracked on with it and has never kicked up a fuss despite quite a bit of negative comments from his managers. It's to do with how effectively he can do what's needed under Bellamy off the ball.

I don't think there's ever been a suggestion that Colwill has an attitude problem? I think that the word attitude has been misused here. It's a seemingly lazy attitude, as opposed to a bad attitude, that Rubin has been suggested to suffer from by various managers. I'm not sure if it's a lazy attitude either. I think you just get some forwards who don't have any defensive instinct whatsoever and same vice versa. Trouble is, every player in a team is part of the defensive effort

I didn't mean to give the impression that Colwill has an attitude problem, I wouldn't know, but there appears to be something going on to suggest that he is not straight forward in his 'make up' , Bulut ignored him , and he has been in and out of the Wales squad. It could be a case of his level of consistency in his performances, but there is no doubting his potential, and it's up to his club and Bellamy to bring him on to the next level ....hopefully.

Is he the Welsh Berbatov?

Is he the Welsh Berbatov? We can but hope. 48 goals in 78 appearances at international level. For forwards, those are the sort of stats that really matter. Sprint frequencies and the rest of it are all just window dressing.

Think he'll be a fantastic option as one of the False 9s in the coming years. Has a good instinct in front of goal and might suit his playing style more than being part of a midfield 3

Only saw the EFL highlights but he looked superb seemed to have time and space on the ball, got his head up and showed what he can do, but Plymouth looked utter kak
I hope he can carry this forward now and be given the backing of the manager to be in the starting XI, that will hopefully get him pushing for a place in the national team too

We're not exactly playing to a traditional CF's strengths and his combos with the likes of Wilson, Johnson (see goal v Czechia) et al could be very beneficial. Doesn't panic in tight situations either and makes good decisions in the box. Made his goal v Plymouth look a lot easier than it was by taking two very good touches.

He's played every league and Cup game this season, and started every game for the last two months. You look at a lot of the rest of the squads game time, I can't believe that's what's preventing him from even making the squad.

He's going to have such a rare career whatever happens next. Not stopped growing til he was 21-22 and therefore still learning how to work his extra length (ooh, matron) and building up stamina/fitness, hopefully working on his headers too, but his potential is clear and exciting.

First time Ive watched Cardiff this season. Colwill looks very good. He seems a lot quicker than the last time I saw him play for us. I wouldnt see any issues with him fitting into Bellamy’s style of play, he’s done a lot of pressing and ball winning tonight. He offers something different, as well as physical presence.

Watched him myself tonight, definitely has something different to offer, looks as though he could step up with better quality around him, absolutely no reason he can't be part of the full Welsh squad.

Don't think Ramsey starts for Cardiff when he's back to full fitness. It's definitely Rubins place to lose
